Why does the ticket office never pick up?

It can be hard to here a phone when it's in your bag.

    red and green scarves anyone?

I think SISU planned and expected to lose 60% of our support but if no one had turned up to those first few home games, I believe they would have shit themselves and maybe tried to do a deal to come back. Because of a thousand or so fans who think more about themselves than the greater good...

The Hill This Sunday - Gillingham

    It doesn't change a thing.

    No accounting for the scabs!!

To be honest, the players don't really give a shit so all this do it for the lads is bollocks. It's just football and a job to them and they will move on. At least if you do go to watch you have the advantage of getting used to non league crowds two seasons early. Enjoy yourself.

F.A. Cup round 3 Home v Man Utd

You would end up with 7500 Man U fans in the ground I would expect

    Backing

That's a great use of capitals but the point is, in probably 5 years time, what exactly will we get back and who will be around to watch it? I'm thinking a team in at best league 2, an even worse debt, a stadium that makes Highfield Road look like Old Trafford and hardly any fans. I can...

pathetic fans: this is the end of ccfc for me crap: why bother supporting !!

You really don't get it do you? Its gone way past supporting the team. Players come and go but we are talking about what a football club represents. You can have your opinion and may be could start your own forum. I would suggest you call it Forum for One. Enjoy yourself.

    Will you go to Sixfields

I won't be going, not a chance. Even though some seem to not have a problem with going I wish everyone would at least have the bollocks to miss the first home game so we had zero crowd. At least it would make some kind of statement rather than 3000 turning up and getting in some practice...

Turning an assumption on its head

With an away allocation of 1200 it doesn't leave much room for anyone to go crawling back. I don't give a shit if they are doing well once they're gone it's not my team and I don't believe many people will crawl back. Lets face it, not many can be arsed when its at the Ricoh.

    Ground Share Opinion.

I don't think you understand what our football club is or what it represents. It's nothing to do with the team, players, management etc. Players come and go but the City and the supporters remain. It's about representing a community. The club in moving away, no longer represents the City and...

    Confirmed northampton

I hope no one turns up to watch. That's the end for me. Sad day.

When was e last time you felt optomistic as a Cov fan

Away at Sheff Utd in FA Cup quarter final, winning 1-0 with only a couple of minutes left and then the ball went out for a Utd corner.......

Dion Dublin - Sky Blues are in complete disarray

Dion was and is a legend. A great player who saved our arse on quite a few occasions. All this talk of respect and the way he left is crap. Respect is two way. Once we had tried to off load him to Blackburn he was quite obviously pissed off as anyone would be. I don't blame the player, as...

Lets say we stay at the Ricoh - Attendance ?

I think we will be down to around 8k If SP gets a few new players in from the Highland league, then maybe 7k!

The Battle Has Been Lost But Not The War

Totally agree, we should all focus on keeping us at the Ricoh. This not one penny more idea really only makes sense if we leave the City.

    Breaking news

Yes, loyalty does run deep but we averaged only 1000 away support last season, so perhaps not all that deep. After all, it would in essence be a whole season of away games. The support just isn't there to get anything more than max 5000 but I don't think we will get 3000.

    Breaking news

According to Northamptonshire Telegraph, Nene Park electricity has just been turned back on. After it was turned off last October, EDF Energy have confirmed a new third party company have started paying for it to be on again. EDF refuse to comment on who the third party is.

    Springsteen at the (ACL) Ricoh

I think you may be over estimating the profits from 4 concerts per year. NEC made just £3m profit in 2012 from all their music concerts combined. They vast majority of their profit (another £30m) came from exhibitions and conferencing.

I don't want to support SISU - but i don't want to kill CCFC either...

People must do what they think is right for them. I don't have a problem with anyone who wishes to support the team outside the City but my own mind is made up and I won't be anywhere near the place. We averaged about 1000 away last year and playing wherever we end up could effectively...
