Match Thread Coventry City vs Fulham (H) - Coventry Building Society Arena - Sat 24th October (3pm KO)

[Paxman II]

Once again lacking in midfield.

Dreadful spectacle this

Dreadful use of the word spectacle

[fernandopartridge]

Not for the King chance but Yirenki continually lets players run past him on his blind side.

Grimes making some bad decisions

[DT-R]

MVE not watching the line. I think he played him onside there. Got away with that one

Given we're sitting in a low block at time, they are finding so much space in the gaps

[Para1140]

Grimes shouldnt be starting now. He aint prem level

All my grimes gripes are surfacing again here

[SkyblueTexan]

Grimes’ passing leaves much to be desired.

Sorry mate , wank game then

[duffer]

Where's the tempo or the ambition. Is the strategy to wait until they fall asleep?

[BackRoomRummermill]

It’s all a bit shit - needs some quality

[stupot07]

Gotta say Josh King is different gravy. He won't be at Fulham next season.

[larry_david]

Sakamoto 40 yards space in front of him, spoons it first time to absolutely no one.

This is not premier league standard boys. Show some confidence

[Winny the Bish]

The Championship mentality really shows when an opposition midfielder gets the ball in a pocket of space and our players seem surprised that he plays a good through ball.

Just then Grimes and JDS simply didn't react to Larsson getting the ball and he played it through for Bobb. Pinnock the only one alert to the runs being made.

Put the legs in midfield and the quality on the wings , this is killing us at times

[BackRoomRummermill]

So far - and i say so far - Caleb Y is a bit of a passenger - hope he starts getting a bit more aware and active

[SkyblueTexan]

Why not try Torp in midfield Frank?

[Evo1883]

Bobby thomas continues to shine

[Nick]

Why don't we just have a dig?

[Evo1883]

Our crossing continues to impress

[Winny the Bish]

Think that Calvin Bassey play was better use of possession than our CMs have had all year. Stayed calm, turned away from 2 and played a great progressive pass.

[BackRoomRummermill]

This game needs Frank Onyenka

[Old Warwickshire lad]

Grimes 3rd CB again.

[Nick]

Ref making dodgy decisions

[Paxman II]

Frustrating as we are losing the midfield battle.

[Nick]

Rushworth needs to mix it up from going to jds.

[TomRad85]

Bit of a nothing game tbh. Rudoni looks a class above for us, wish we had a few more who looked this instantly at home at the higher level. Still struggling to see what Grimes is offering really.

[larry_david]

Free kick in their half, we go back to rushworth

[Nick]

That's a booking

[Para1140]

2 poor teams with no threat

[OldBedrocker]

Grimes goes backwards every time

[RoysterE17]

How thomas is starting in this 11 is mad!

[DT-R]

No card for that?

[Great_Expectations]

Yirenyki looking well out of depth today I’m afraid.
