Would like to see Torp, Mfuni get minutes (maybe even Torp in place of Grimes) and Ghobo get back into the fold. Cherif should start but Simms should be ahead of TA on the bench.

The number of times EMC has the chance to get the ball in first time but never does really infuriates me. It is like he is trying to get in the perfect cross but all it does is allow defences to reset.

Crazy and even more frustrating when you look at the quality delivery late in the game v spurs when he created half a yard of space. Cracking ball but awonyi poor header

I’d always be saying the same to EMC, try to park the constant physical battle with back to goal, we need you running at defenders and whipping balls in. He’s got the talent to be doing more

Agree with others, thought the team needed freshening up especially on the wings. Would’ve started EMC or Gboho if he’s put the bad books. Imagine both will be on at some point though. Come on city !!!!

It's a team set up in recognition that we'll have less of the ball because Fulham are possession heavy. Reading between the lines on what Lampard says the new signings are still not up to the workrate necessary to do that. Hopefully with a wet pitch Asante and Sakamoto can press hard and win the ball off any mistakes.

Perhaps MVE isn't quite as good as we all thought he was. His pace used to get him out of trouble in the championship but he's in a league now where everyone looks as quick as him

Yes mate I have a season ticket and have been to every away game apart from Spurs. I have seen more than enough to know he isn't good enough for this level and it is bizarre to me that two signings presumably made to improve the squad cannot get in ahead of him

for me, Tchouna Gboho, Hamer and Onyeka all need to start, but granted we don’t know what’s going on off the pitch…

Grimes has been bang average at best, Yirenkyi is very raw, and BTA / EMC / Tats aren’t giving me any confidence they are up to this league at the minute, albeit I do think they all have a part to play

Hamer and Onyeka have premier league experience, and the two wingers seem to have pace to burn. I also think we need to get Mfuni in there somewhere as he looks like he can make things happen

We went away to Spurs and didn't give up a single big chance, and it was only one or two keeper errors away from a draw. We're clearly focusing on defensive solidity first and foremost. We've made at least one good chance in every game so far.

I agree that this league is too much for MVE, Tats, BTA and EMC. Maybe FLs hands are tied if some of the newbies are inexplicably unfit

I thought we we very competitive at spurs. We were done by one strike no one could stop and two individual errors - I thought it was ok as we showed we can be compete against teams at this level who have a lot more experience

We were, as I said above we didn't give up a clear cut chance, we actually touched the ball more in Spurs area than they did in ours. If not for the errors everybody would be happy with a solid away point.

He’s hardly been given any minutes, and I don’t think he’s looked out of place when he’s come on even when you bear in mind he’s been thrown on with fifteen to go and asked to change a game

I would 100% start him ahead of Grimes for example, with Onyeka and Rudi
