Oh god we arent back doing this are we

Its 20 million pound not a freebie from rotherham
Don't fall back into your old ways then!

There are ways to ask questions. No one is saying no criticism allowed. It's simply an observation that some people just can't seem to warm to lampard like they did robins

A draw isn't the end of the world and keeps us in touch with those above us, but really could do with bridging a gap with a win for when the fixtures get even tougher.

Don't be such a crybaby. You have taken first chance to turn on him let's be honest. You only stopped cos you realised it was silly to get on the back of someone winning so many championship games . Anyone brings it up you gets on mute 🤣

yet we have only had 2 absolute disaster games (Hull and Fulham, Brighton was us being taken apart with 10 men by a great team) and even Saturday for as bad it took a great piece of skill and a great finishfrom a player that is probably at ;east a level above us for them to win.

You can be worried but at the same time realise that the level we are at now is a level where even the slightest mistake in management or on the pitch will see you lose a game.

Agreed

Also it's a long game this season. Sometimes even if we have a bad result we need to take solice on rivals dropping PTS meaning we can gain on them in a future game week

Whilst one win can catapult us 5-6 positions it's not really time to panic imo

Saturday was a poor display but we are competitive and have to have faith lampard Will improve upon that as time goes on

I agree people have always got on his case way quicker than Robins but he is winding me up atm i can't lie. If £35 million worth of new winger isn't any better than EMC and Sakamoto then what are we even doing here? And as for this Grimes fetish, it's run its course i'm afraid.

We have lost 3 of our first 4 home games. Cannot afford to make this four out of five as home form will be crucial if we are to stay up this season.
Hull and Fulham were games we needed to not lose if we are to stay up. And the Sunderland game falls into this category as well. If we are to get something approaching 40points then Saturday’s result looks to be very important.

Ya I have no issue with ppl being frustrated right now. People would do same with robins and the like for like subs or playing to keep the score down when we losing but not many people threw disrespect at him. I just think lampard winning league should be enough to buy him that same level of respect that's all

Need to be more creative. Less worried about conceding.

I think this might likely be a draw, which after the last result probably wouldn’t be good enough.

Haha!
Wild! Thats absolute bollocks.
See where we were in the league and how long in to his tenure the first taxi for Robins thread took to appear.
Still doesnt make calling for Lampard to go right in my book. Id be fuming if it happened in all honesty.

Ultimately i suppose Kings opinion is the only one that matters, he was proven right in his removal of Robins, i don't doubt he'll have more affection for Lampard given Lampard got our non-parachute team promoted and financially changed the course of the club in doing so. That said i doubt he'll be happy seeing so many players he's shelled out for sitting out the team while the performances of others are hardly inspiring and i'm not convinced he'll be as 'loyal' as some think he might if we see too many more home performances like Fulham and Dull.

I'm not going back into it but its not absolute bollocks at all. Lampard deserves some of the criticism coming his way currently though imo.

Just looked, December 2017, 4 or so months in to his tenure.

Look ultinately robins was the first manager that gave us success in many years , so i probably gave him a bit too much time when it was going wrong

Lessons learned

There arent many fans asking for lampard to go but in fairness if you go back a few were asking for robins to leave at the time he was sacked

My point is im not having the same poster tell me i cant critique frank , its nonsense so hes on mute , i like him but i aint having it i have opinions and il say them

I was more going credit in the bank Robins vs credit in the bank Lampard but if you want to go from the off there were people on here that wanted him gone after 5 minutes :ROFLMAO:

Don't care if I'm on mute. Everyone knows I didn't say you can't criticise him

P.s I like you too 💋

I don't really want to get into the Robins stuff haha! He deserved to go because we were dire and he was underperforming with the tools given to him. A few more like some of the games we've seen so far and ultimately i think King might start to look at this the same way. Hopefully it doesn't get there and we see better vs Sunderland.

Shmmeee and possibly a couple of other headbangers, Im not sure anyone took that seriously.
The taxi thread had people who definitely wanted Robins gone. Fortunately they were ignored, (more because sisu couldn't give a shit than anything else probably).

Could change about half that which is half the problem. No one making their spot their own or showing they should be started outside of Mfuni but we need something different in CM and the wings

Mark robins and frank lampard are 2 different managers being judged in 2 differnet spells .

We dont need to bring them into the same chat when discussing current issues , its frankly weird

I think you might be right about King, but Lampard deserves the season as far as Im concerned, and if we go down where do we get a manager with better championship pedigree, last 2 finishes 1st and 5th?

if we keep losing he wont get the season and rightly so imho , staying in the premier league should be a priority

But however we spin it we need to perform slightly better than 6 points from 24

If we go down he’s not staying. We shouldn’t make the decision based on sentimentality or hoping he’ll be here next year. If he’s not up to the current job try and find someone who is.

Not saying he’s not. Just saying if it came to that “he might be here next year and be good” isn’t a reason to override the decision.

Its not really sentimentality its more his proven Championship track record with us.

If he got us back up and started badly again in the PL that's when Id look to pull the trigger
