And that moronic cringebag owner.
Exactly. We've been made to look mugs by captain cringebag, with his Twitter nonsense and his bidding on about 200 players and hoping something sticks transfer master plan. We should be totally embarrassed by it.

It was a shambles wasn’t it ,massive email complaint going in on Tuesday, apparently some of the furniture didn’t arrive it was a crap start to the day husband couldn’t believe it when he went to get a brew and they were gonna charge safe to say he walked off lol they tell us to get in early enjoy the experience no thanks don’t wanna stand for 2 bloody hrs !

I've just forward the email regarding hospitality to Suzette, the email address is, [email protected]

This was blatantly obvious!! Yet we persisted with wingers and one striker in the box.

Its driving me mad...OK but to not change it...then took EMC off and play EMC left wing. Its a joke!

Watch everyone else take heed and learn from how Hull play.

It's too late Frank!! It was obvious how they were gonna set up. The fucking homework wasn't done.

It was obvious to every football fan doesn't take a genius to work out tactics were woefull.
He fucked up twice. Arsenal and Hull.

The thing that puzzles me is every game we have a warm up drill with midfield and attack where we pass quickly into feet with one touch lay offs and midfielders running beyond and getting shots off that fly in the top corner. Then in the game the wide players who are all in the 18 yard box for the drill go to the touchline and stand there. We never seem to play these quick passes into feet and getting midfielders making runs from deep for the through ball to be in on goal or the wide men making runs inside to join in which then leaves space for the full back to run into giving more attacking options. It’s just the slow passing out wide and poor cross routine over and over. We don’t seem to get to the byline and pull crosses back for midfielders arriving. Arsenal did it several times against us. I don’t remember them floating crosses into Rushworths hands. It’s all too easy to defend.

I don’t know why people are shocked - We know what Hull are about, they did to us on Saturday what they did twice to us last season and nicked a goal this time around

Horrible, awkward side to play against who have had our cards marked the last few seasons and the people sneering when they come up that they would break Derby’s record look a bit stupid now

It’s a disastrous result in terms of aspirations to stay in the division as you have to be beating the sides you come up with as well as in and around you at home as a bare minimum to give you any chance of staying up really

The real prospect of the first international break arriving with us marooned on the bottom of the table on 0 points, which was exactly what I dreaded happening, felt like we had to be at 4 minimum by the break to be in touch and stop heads from dropping and confidence sapping

Probably been mentioned already - we need to be prepared to commit fouls to prevent breakaways. Tats should have tripped their guy up when he couldn't reach the ball just before the goal. Think FL alluded to this. Also, annoyed that Grimes effectively gave up chasing their player: yes, he was never going to reach him but what if there was a rebound off the keeper or off the woodwork? TBF to Grimes it is not his fault he was expected to be in that position in the first place, nonsense we have a relatively slow player propping us up when putting pressure on at the other end
Was Grimes expected to be there Or did he make the decision? He was so deep most of the game it looked like he was playing sweeper.
Even when we were losing in the attack that ended with DaSilva’s header Grimes is stood between the 2 centre half’s

To respond to my own question:

“Cherif is getting fit,” said Lampard. “He’s not had many minutes or a proper pre-season so we need to get him fit.”

This seems mad a player of that age and value couldn't be involved at all due to fitness.
My eldest spends a lot of time filming in Turkey and spoke to a Fenerbahce fan he knows about Cherif. He said he’s ok but not premier standard more worryingly also said he has an attitude problem.

We'll see how it plays out, but for that price, he needs to be one of our better players.

I think it’s so much easier than that mve should be the last man and he’s not

It’s not really relevant here cos that was a corner but MvE as our only long throw and our only last man isn’t ideal. We do need a way to set up that doesn’t rely on him.

Does anyone know what the PL record is for the longest a team has gone from the start of the season without scoring? Also without a point?

Just asking.....

It went the same way as every other competently organised low block we've faced in recent years. We have no answer to it, and never have.

It was an infuriating result, but should have come as a shock to no-one.

The fixtures have been awful. Two world class teams and a system we can't beat.

It shouldnt come as a shock that we lost to Hull at home?

A question that needs to be asked regarding Grimes being the last man, besides the fact his lack of pace means he's totally unsuited to it.

At the time we were attacking. We had loads of players up the pitch. Grimes is supposed to be our main playmaker and there to create opportunities with his passing. So how is he going to do that standing on the halfway line? Having your supposedly best passer in a place where they can't get on the ball and be creative. He should be somewhere outside their penalty box (certainly within 30 yards of their goal) so he could create something.

He’s not a creative mid though. He keeps things ticking over he doesn’t do defence splitting passes. He’s always the furthest back midfielder pretty much.

For what it's worth I agree I don't think he's our most creative. So why are we making all of our play go through him?
