Nothing to do with todays game but me and a mate got tickets for the Everton/ Watford fa cup final in the old Wembley. We were in the Everton end top tier when all the Everton fans started jumping up and down in unison, for some reason. We were literally lifted off the ground with the vibration. It was terrifying. All I could think about was crashing down onto the concourse with a million tons of concrete. Only time Ive ever been scared at a game.

Without really knowing how Frank is going to line up, I find it really hard to predict anything here. I suspect Grimes does return; most of us have felt for a while that Yirenkyi & Grimes together just isn't really working. We concede so much territory and possession and it may make for a long night away from home.

I heard on ThatCovPod some fairly dismissive takes were made on Everton. They may have a small squad but their squad man for man is largely better than ours. I caught literally 2 minutes of the end of the first half away at Newcastle and KDH (bastard) carved them apart with two really nice moves.

A point would be a massive step forward for us.
