Match Thread Everton vs Coventry City (A) - Hill Dickinson Stadium - Fri 6th November (8pm KO) (100 Viewers)

I'm happy but a bit surprised at the lineup as I was half expecting to see Grimes back in for this, I've gone for a 1-1 on the prediction league and will stick with that as it's a big ask to get a win there.
So if we’re 1-0 up with 5 minutes left you’ll be cheering for Everton?

Im concerned that Onyeka isnt available, as we may get overrun in midfield, we will need Yirenkyi and Torp to be really on their game, and Rudoni will have to drop a lot deeper than usual, and we will need to be ruthless if we get chances.

It will be interesting to see Gboho and Sakamoto against a decent Everton who are way better than Sunderland. Tonight will be a good test, and im not sure if we are a little too light weight in the middle of the park.

Sitting in the waiting room for an MRI and have to wait until tonight to watch.

I think Tchaouna off the bench could be a good option. Offers a bit more defensively than EMC. Has a bit more physicality than Sakamoto if required.

The starters deserve to start. It’s their chance now to show they can back it up and show they can perform consistently.

The Everton players look massive stood next to ours in the tunnel.

Last year's shorts ?

Rushworth kicking it straight to them while the City fans sing about Pickford being a shit Rushworth 🤦‍♂️

Taking a few chances at the back so far.

Could he have got that ?

Everton sitting so deep they look like the away team who turned up for a draw. Obviously worried about us on the counter attack and don’t think we can break them down with just possession

Very dangerous attack from Everton. Yirenkyi is just walking back? Should be busting a gut there.
