Transfer Shouts (2 Viewers)

[Brighton Sky Blue]

Isn't that literally the reason we signed Palmer? Last year we had nobody (unless you include bright) not sure we can really expect somebody to come in and play 3rd fiddle.

Well yes but he isn’t match sharp yet

You don't then add another player on though just until Palmer is fit in a month's time?
It has to be someone good enough at the level but is then going to be happy being second/third fiddle after a month? But then also have to hit the ground running...

Yeah difficult but we could do with somebody who could do a job at CM or AM if required so that gives them a couple of ways into the team.

Agreed, be ideal if we can find a CM who could perhaps fill the role. At least for 4/5 months until Kelly is back (can't imagine we could afford season-long without shifting the dead wood).

Unfortunately we still have Hilsner on a fairly significant wage on the payroll.

[higgs]

What about rus could he provide cover in the 10 role

Surely he needs to play to get fit?

Is it possible that the final loan would have been Chukwamenka from Villa but they're now selling him to Chelsea?

That’s a bizarre one. Complaining that he isn’t getting a first team chance at Villa so joins….Chelsea?

Amusing (although they’ve been nicely compensated for it) to see Villa lose one of their best prospects as they’ve been trying to wear down academies in the Midlands for a while now.

This lad they actually took from Northampton

Friends with both Villa and Northampton fans who have both said he has attitude issues. Was demanding 100k from Villa apparently and she sent fully committed to training etc. All
Hearsay but you never know.[

His brother is at villa too. Were they both from Northampton?

Yes they signed him to keep him the younger one happy! He’s not very good

Haha yeah seemed a weird deal at the time as he wasn't exactly banging them in for Northampton and then got loaned out once they bought him I think

[Tea & Busquets]

is hilssner still out injured? think if it comes down to it he could do a job for us but that would be a doomsday situation.

[Terry_dactyl]

I wondered if Eccles can play AM or is he definitely a CM?

[Bertola]

I wonder if he's hinting at something.... or is clueless and clutching at straws with his "interesting" reply

How about Biamou?

It’s Andy Turner...

It's Andy Turner, what do you think?

The striker Rotherham are after is Ashley Fletcher.

[SlowerThanPlatt]

Over Simon Moore?!

Bournemouth have agreed a deal with Barcelona to sign goalkeeper Neto.

The 33-year-old Brazilian is flying into the UK today for his medical.

He will get get first team action when he's loaned to vitesse

[procdoc]

Neither Ross Barkley or Billy Gilmour have been given squad numbers at Chelsea…

It’s been reported the latter could leave permanently. Remember Norwich getting a lot of stick from experts for not playing him…

Potentially a very, very good player but that move really suited nobody in the end.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him reunited with Lampard at Everton.

[Greggs]

Getting past a joke now. Jamie Allen playing number 10 again Saturday, shoot me now.

Phew, hopefully that means he's too tired to play Sunday against Rotherham

[long way home]

Id go ask Leicester if they can loan Callum Wright fir the season. Doesnt seem to be in thoughts of Rodgers. Could be a good fit.

Need a pitch and get rid of two players nobody wants first.

Rumour on Lincolns forum that Walker may sign for them if he agrees a pay cut

[Saddlebrains]

Cant see anyone coming in even if we offload now

Who'd want to send their young talent to a club who have a fucking beach for a pitch?

If Walker or Waghorn agreed to a pay cut then I’m sure they would be off

Is Kane still expected to go?

Are we even any closer to getting some players off the wage bill [mention]Skybluebeliever [/mention]
