Thing with Walker is if he’s preventing Tavares from getting minutes and we think Tavares could go somewhere he’s basically 4th choice for a position we often play one of. Shame cos he looked alright in the bits of preseason I’ve seen. Hopefully he find a nice L1/2 club to get his mojo back.

I think that a couple of weeks in, if we are scoring goals so there is no clammer for either waghorn or walker to play for us that teams in the championship who are stugglong to score may need to make panic buys or loans so more likely to be able to shift them at that stage.

We have recruited well this summer and if we can win up north Sunday it will really boost confidence think we are 8/5 to win so will be having a punt myself.

Do we know what sell on Norwich have? I assume it’s 10% so £500k off £50m, could be worse.

Presuming its correct that we still get something from future sales, wouldn't it be based on the transfer profit made? Therefore if Leicester bought him for £20m and sell for £50m the bit that we would have our take from in your scenario would be £30m, and we would therefore get £300,000.

I see Jason Knight played right back for Derby today. He would be someone worth a sniff seeming as we are targeting all their players as can play both centre mid and right back so will cover Dabo and Kelly

After todays game clearly with Kane off and Eccles not comfortable in the RWB position, we need proper competition for Dabo. Hopefully the loan to come in next week is to fill that spot.

Also, wonder if the extent of CoH injury which will find out more about tomorrow, might mean Robins asks for some money to get another player in. Allen wasn’t great in that slot behind the front 2.

tbf to Eccles he'd looked alright whenever he'd played RWB before, and his last game before this one, he was superb. I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt that this one was a mistake but... we might also need him for his actual position, the way they're all dropping!

Yeah, he was great at Stoke before he got injured.

Loads of players just had off days. Probably not helped by losing COH at the last minute and having to rip up our game plan.

I know I mentioned Jason Knight the other day but an interesting review by his manager how he played on Saturday and can easily play both right back and centre mid which gives us cover in both positions. International player… looks a class act
