They've put more money into the Ricoh than CCFC. I'd call that investment. If they spend whatever up at the Higgs then that too is investment. All we do is rent (and fall out with landlords!)

It's a sad state of affairs that we are indeed "clutching at straws" like this. If Cat. 2 status was such a big deal then they would be the masters of their own destiny. They hark back to things that happened over ten years ago...maybe they need to look at what past custodians of CCFC have done...

I think the problem was that right next door there is a Catholic primary school, along the same road you have another primary school (Hollyfast) and then you have Coundon Court that has about 2000 or so students next to that. These are all within a five minute walk. Building a school is one...

I know it's the "highest league position" in however long. Technically this may be correct. However, we've been in higher leagues for so long. I'd take 15th in the Prem or Championship over 8th in League One any day. I'm not saying we have a God given right to be in a higher league, God forbid...
