Latest CCFC letter on planning application - Planning Meeting

Oh Nick. Seriously. Where do you get off? So you think the investment in CCFC is adequate? I'm seriously done with this forum. You, Grendel and Chiefdave seriously try to turn everything thing into a pro-SISU, anti-Wasps thread! NOPM. Not one prick more! Delete my account! At least folk...

Latest CCFC letter on planning application - Planning Meeting

So is that including the money SISU don't pay up? Chiefdave, I'm aware of your views on Wasps and the way you like threads degenerating into anti-Wasps. I certainly don't want this thread to be like that. But I do think whatever this cost Wasps...

Latest CCFC letter on planning application - Planning Meeting

They've put more money into the Ricoh than CCFC. I'd call that investment. If they spend whatever up at the Higgs then that too is investment. All we do is rent (and fall out with landlords!)

Latest CCFC letter on planning application - Planning Meeting

It's a sad state of affairs that we are indeed "clutching at straws" like this. If Cat. 2 status was such a big deal then they would be the masters of their own destiny. They hark back to things that happened over ten years ago...maybe they need to look at what past custodians of CCFC have done...

    More Quality on the Way

Totally how I was feeling until this morning (I did change my cereal so it may be that!) I know there's always spin, but as a few on here have alluded to: if this all goes wrong then these decisions look bad on TM. If you need a drop of positivity...at least we've not signed Kevin Malaga hey!

    More Quality on the Way

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/theres-more-quality-way-coventry-11696575 Despite sounding like I'm preparing a speech for a funeral I try to remain positive. (The sky is normally a shade of greyish blue right, as opposed to being grey?) I do "trust" TM to make good judgement...

    The future is bright!

http://www.balls.ie/football/football-manager-1000-years/303651?utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook#link_time=1470147252 We break the world transfer record in the future! This is a mere blip! SISU must certainly sell up!

    Alternatives to the Higgs?

Maybe they'll sell the kids to Wasps!

    Alternatives to the Higgs?

I think the problem was that right next door there is a Catholic primary school, along the same road you have another primary school (Hollyfast) and then you have Coundon Court that has about 2000 or so students next to that. These are all within a five minute walk. Building a school is one...

    Alternatives to the Higgs?

And there seems to have been lots of uproar as a covenant was in place to stop it being built. But as its Bablake its going ahead. Go figure!

    Alternatives to the Higgs?

Being Paul Williams back. We are short on central defenders! Hoof there it is!

    Alternatives to the Higgs?

But at least they get things done! If only SISU had some end product like Wasps did then we wouldn't even be moaning like a bunch of sad-sacks!

    Reda Johnson

Certainly looks more svelt than when we signed him. Hope he can do the business this year. Afterall, he was talked up by Crowley before he left.

    Formal Planning Objection from CCFC

Pretty sure there's a good deal of PR bs being served from all sides.

    Our kit finished 17th

Port Vale kit is great. Even their alternate kits are good. Nice retro style but with a modern interpretation. Our sponsor's logo would have ruined any nice kit design though!

    Tuesday signings

Totally agree. We all want to get back there. However, it's now pretty alarming that the manager has none of his targets (especially defensive ones) signed up. The lack of ability to get enough deals done (I know we have signed Reid, Sordell etc.) is pretty worrying. I don't know if the problem...

    Tuesday signings

I know it's the "highest league position" in however long. Technically this may be correct. However, we've been in higher leagues for so long. I'd take 15th in the Prem or Championship over 8th in League One any day. I'm not saying we have a God given right to be in a higher league, God forbid...

    Tuesday signings

I'm pretty sure even the ones signed (this season and the back end of last season) are also gutted. They were probably sold on some of the great signings MV and TM had in mind! Little did they know that when it comes to "getting them over the line", we are as effective as Robbie Fowler getting...

    Formal Planning Objection from CCFC

It's an interesting read and fans of Coventry City will no doubt be happy. However, If I detach myself from being a fan of the football club and understanding the importance of the Academy; I can't help but feel we're clutching at straws! If you analyze the letter in a subjective manner you...
