Match Thread Everton vs Coventry City (A) - Hill Dickinson Stadium - Fri 6th November (8pm KO) (20 Viewers)

Thought we’ve played well tonight, but let down by our keeper again.
Let down by our keeper and VAR. I think their goals could’ve been saved by a better keeper.

Don’t we have a different GK coach to last years it’s like rushworth is a different man

Sorry but blaming Rushworth for that goal - have a word with yourselves - ball has gone in exactly the one place that makes impossible to save
Ye he couldn't do anything about the 3rd but fuck me he was at fault for 2nd.

Bit annoyed with Frank. Picked the right team and the ref and VAR have been scandalous.

But was clear we needed subs on around sixty minutes to support the lads. He’s often stressed how everyone needs to play their part.

So let’s get them on to play their part.

He saved one
So frustrating that

Should and could have had 2 pens and second goal hand ball

But Rushworth should be doing better with all 3 goals

How have we got to the 84th min amd BTA for Gboho has been pur only fucking sub at 2-1 and now 3-1 down! Lampard has made some fucking diabolical tactical decisions this season!

Changes have come too late for me, once it went 2-1 it should have been done.

I don’t understand this logic of the subs and timings tonight.

We’ve played so well tonight up until the equaliser. We’ve absolutely thrown this game away. We had it!!!!

Sums it up. Cherif should have been on before the free kick. Torp completely overhits the cross. Pinnock kicks it straight out.

Are we meant to accept this standard of goalkeeping all season then?
Are you genuinely suggesting we play Bentley or Wilson? At best you'd be looking at only being able to make a change in January and I can't see much chance of King signing off on that after spending £22m on Rushworth.

We know he's better than this, we have to trust that the coaches, both on the footballing side and potentially on the mental side, can work out what is going on and get it sorted.

Im proud of our team tonight.

Im not proud of our coaching staff though. They've sat on their hands and watched our players run themselves into the ground
