Match Thread Everton vs Coventry City (A) - Hill Dickinson Stadium - Fri 6th November (8pm KO) (21 Viewers)

Rushworth single handedly cost us this match.

Not single-handedly, no.

Poor game management from Lampard. Poor decision making from Awoniyi. Poor clearance from Sakamoto, first goal shouldn't have got anywhere NEAR Rushworth, should have been in row z.

And let's not forget the absolute catastrofuck that is VAR.

JDS and Rushworth have been awful. Think when Thomas comes back we should move Mfuni to the left in place of JDS

Hard game to sum up really. It felt almost too comfortable when we took the lead but we crumbled under the most miniscule amount of pressure, JDS, Sakamoto and particularly Rushworth just not helping us at all. I do have to say though, we've been absolutely fucked by VAR, I think its disgraceful honestly.

We've been good tonight for 55 minutes, bit of a shame as it feels like a bit of a collapse. Bad VAR decision and some questionable keeping stopped us from getting something. Got to try and focus on the positives as I think there's a lot to take from tonight.

If we could have moved on one or two more fringe players and signed a little bit of PL experience, instead of fat chumps like Hamer, it could have made a massive difference.

Sorry but blaming Rushworth for that goal - have a word with yourselves - ball has gone in exactly the one place that makes impossible to save
Yes because it’s poor positioning. If he’s closer to the post there is no gap. Keepers get taught that at U11’s. It’s the only place he can be beaten from that angle.

Only person gambling on that is Tuna. Should be on the back post for that. Great ball from Hamer. That is what Hamer offers us that nobody else does.
