Match Thread Everton vs Coventry City (A) - Hill Dickinson Stadium - Fri 6th November (8pm KO) (99 Viewers)

[San Francisco]

Same as last week. Going for it I see.

[ccfcchris]

We may surprise a few people tonight. Keep the faith.

[larry_david]

Tuna back in the fold. Good man Frank

[Balli001]

Tuna back in the fold. Good man Frank

No mason-clark though so assume that's the only reason

[PVA]

No EMC

[CovveeBreak]

Calling a loss tonight. Think we don’t get the lineup we all want, and thus, a bit part performance.

Newcastle and Sunderland games still not a real reflection of our finishing prowess either so think we might struggle up top tonight.

Don’t think it’s a pasting, but maybe a 1-0/2-0.

Might review my prediction post lineup

Post lineup, going for a 5-0 win, Gboho with all 5.

Seriously though, didn’t think this was happening. Still think we lose, but slim chance of a 1-1 now.

[AFCCOVENTRY]

Right call. Let’s see if this team can give another performance.

Good bench

[shmmeee]

going for it. Nice to see. Let’s hope it’s the right tactic.

[Cov. Kids. Never. Quit]

Called it, I knew they wouldn't risk Bobby Thomas, we never have small injuries.

[SeaSeeEffCee]

Loum Tchaouna, you’re alive? Someone told me you was dead.

[CovveeBreak]

Any CB injury and 🫪

[AOM]

Fancy a sneaky win tonight. 1-2.
Don't really think there is much to fear from their line up.

If Grealish was playing however, I'd have expected the inevitable statement all star performance from him.

Same line-up, I think it's a sensible call after last week, everyone riding high with confidence. I assume Tchouna for EMC is just rotation. Good to see Torp and Gboho keeping their places, deserved. Shame no Thomas but the other 2 are doing ok so we don't need to panic. If we get a draw it'll be a great result. Wish I was going but it's a long stretch from Hastings. PUSB!

[curly_tom]

Does Hackney not usually start for them? He was good last season.

[Saddlebrains]

Tchouana in for EMC is interesting. Cant see EMC being injured as he got 0 minutes off the bench last week

Need to buck his ideas up? Maybe

[David O'Day]

nah, been sub each time i've seen them

[Great_Expectations]

Really happy with that.

Playing on the front foot has always benefited us.

2-1 City.

[jordan210]

Think our media team need to learn the difference between a sea and a river.

[clint van damme]

Stop Dewsbury-Hall and we'll get a result

[AFCCOVENTRY]

Stop Dewsbury-Hall and we'll get a result

Caleb needs to do a job on him today

[Esoterica]

Really happy with that.

Playing on the front foot has always benefited us.

2-1 City.

Haven’t lost when we’ve gone ahead this season!

Think our media team need to learn the difference between a sea and a river.

It's the Mer-sea.

[Johnnythespider]

I'm happy but a bit surprised at the lineup as I was half expecting to see Grimes back in for this, I've gone for a 1-1 on the prediction league and will stick with that as it's a big ask to get a win there.

[bigfatronssba]

Think our media team need to learn the difference between a sea and a river.

It’s neither, it’s an estuary

[no_loyalty]

Point would be perfect tonight, hopefully go at them from the off.

[StrettoBoy]

I’m happy with tonight’s team, given who is unavailable

I find this one difficult to predict but I don’t think there will be a lot of goals. 0-1 to us would be excellent but I’d be happy with a point.

PUSB

[procdoc]

Fancy at least a point

[CCFC_BR]

Bobby Thomas in the away end.

[Samueljames1991]

Bobby Thomas in the away end.

What a legend im sure he'll have a blast

Don't think he has enough points though?

[Sky_Blue_Dreamer]

Bobby Thomas in the away end.

Hopefully at the back. Wouldn't want to be sat behind him with that head!

[SkyBlueBarmy84]

FFS, looks like MVE is stuck on the M6 too…

[Pusb1]

Emc in the sky lineup and not tuna?

But tuna in official squad. Confused

[Dimi_Konstantflapalot]

Sky reporting EMC on the bench

[Farmer Jim]

Good reception for Frank from the Everton fans, which is nice to see
