I think before we focus on this dropping 30mil thing it’s worth remembering that Loam looked pretty poor in his performances.
Looked seriously unfit.

I thought so as wellI’m going to get ripped into for this, but I thought before the red card Awonyi looked a step above our other strikers. He’s certainly the best at holding the ball up.
Yeah sums up what I feel except that I don’t think bringing the other players in is going to be a miracle cure that others think. We were second best to a team that look like relegation material, chasing shadows for large parts of the game and when in possession we were pedestrian and unimaginative, the subs were once again ineffective.
There is a long way to go but unless something clicks soon this season is going to be even harder to watch than was thought before the season started, if we were only going to pick 3 new players each week I'd rather we spent big on 3 proven signings.
Sorry for being wet wipe but that game has knocked the stuffing out of me, we were shite.
He gets better the longer he's out. Gboho was also poor against Villa yet people seem to think he's the second comingI think before we focus on this dropping 30mil thing it’s worth remembering that Loam looked pretty poor in his performances.
He’s more experience than many at this level and his stats at this level and in the Champ for attacking play are right up there.Hamer for £6m becomes more and more baffling. Every appearance has been hopeless
Especially when Jensen was available for £10 millionHamer for £6m becomes more and more baffling. Every appearance has been hopeless
Any one hear Amos the last caller on CWR. Thought we played really well, and and he was really happy with the starting line up.![]()
Awoniyi, Cherif then Simms (ignoring the injured wright at the mo) are the genuine order of talent IMO.I thought so as well

The fact is they’re getting next to no service… it’s not their fault.
Frank likes to play wingers and is starting BTA, at home. I was concerned in the champ with that - let alone the prem!
Must of been a Fulham fan.Any one hear Amos the last caller on CWR. Thought we played really well, and and he was really happy with the starting line up.![]()

Fair enough.Im sure the stats are out there somewhere that will prove or disprove my theory, but from what Ive seen this season high crosses into the box doesnt seem to produce the number of goals in the PL that it used to.
We didn't get a foot in until Onyeka and Mfuni came on and started putting it about!!!!! Grimes and Rudi aren't tacklers and Yirenkyi goea a bit wild but tries to make a go of it.I think the thing really annoying me about this and other performances so far is how passive we are in defence.
9 tackles today compared to 17 for them.
fucking dipshitThey were loving him
He will be going to sleep happy do could be argued he is winning at life and not us lolfucking dipshit
Lampard's tactics/ instructions???I said at half time we look scared. Too often taking the easy pass. How many times did Da Silva pass it backwards today? EMC had one opportunity to put a cross in twice, didn't do it, lost the ball. When the ball comes back to MVE from our corners he never puts it back in the box, either passes sideways or backwards.
Absolutely clueless. Do you not think we targeted today? Do you think we don’t target every game? Do you think we could just sign whoever we wanted? Do you not think we’re trying but the odds are against us? Clueless. All high and mighty - please do tell how you understand how difficult the step up is?
and most posters completely get it’s difficult, which is why you buy and play better players, not 8 of the squad that played in the league below… the frustration lies in the fact we need to target games like Hull and today, and Sunderland next week, for what little points we will win, and yet with that team we were fucked from the start
What’s the point in spending a not insignificant amount of money on players and then not playing them, taking players out of the team and squad who have scored the week before, and continuing to play players who look lost at this level and are genuinely negatively affecting the team
If you don’t understand that then I’d suggest perhaps you fall into the muppet category you refer to my friend
He's clearly nowhere near the same player he was when he left. When Hamer was with us before he played the Grimes role and was the box to box player, after he left we hugely missed that position until Grimes.
I’d like to see Hamer play there and see if we can get him back to near what we used to see.
Just back from the casino after 7 pints today.
Looking forward to the curry I've ordered.
Gonna catch up on 'Winter' on ITVX
That's all.
Let's be honest, history tells us that anyone on the opposite side of your meltdowns is usually proven right
Your constantly repeated mantra of saying the prem is tough and every other fan is a knobhead for expecting to win a game is tedious and clearly a cope for you. Why bother trying to get promoted then?Christ, there are some absolute muppets on here. The level of non understanding as to how difficult it is to step into this league, without parachute payments and having not been in it for 25 years is embarrassing. It’s frustrating to lose football matches. But when will reality kick in? We’ve got to try and scrape our way through this year. Teams are better than us. There’s no one we “should” beat. Grow up and get behind those trying the near impossible
He certainly hasn't got the physical capability to play there now. He's clearly nowhere near the same player he was when he left.
Likewise - but he's been Bakayoko levels of shit in his appearances since.I thought so as well

People just want to feel like we have a chance of winning, we never got close to even troubling them today and could have played for 5 hours and not scored.Christ, there are some absolute muppets on here. He hasn't played in the position that he did before he left yet! He's clearly nowhere near the same player he was when he left.
Var check for a penaltyWhat was the extra minute of added time about at the end of the first half?
Board said 1 but he played 2 and nothing happened to warrant it.
