Then if you complain they clean the table with a stinking Bacteria rich cloth - spraying any crumbs straight on the floor

'Good weekend?'

Fuck off, just say 'morning, you alright?' then get on with your day.

The Friday afternoon high to Monday morning low gets me every single time. I can't really hold a conversation until Wednesday lunch time.

:woot:

People who order an expresso

[Marty]

People who eat with their mouths open. Complete lack of manners and poor patenting.

I don't like it either, but I think people should be allowed to do it without having to pay royalties

Legs going numb after sitting on the bogs so long, can barely move at the moment.

3 points for the City helps though I'm much worse after a loss on a MOnday

This is my absolute no.1 pet hate.

I'd rather hear someone shitting themselves very violently than have to endure some mouth breaking c**t work their way through a packet of crisps.

I'd actually quite like to hear someone shitting themselves violently.

Come around to my house on Curry night and you won't be disappointed.

Standard grandad get with the times. I was doing some UX work this morning (User eXperience).

It’s shortening Transmission to Tx that always confused me.

When Christina Aguilera became Xtina for that brief period of time I was disapponted that Xwaddle didn't follow suit.

I think Tx came about at a time when everything on the wireless was abbreviated - quicker to say in Morse code! Receive was Rx too, IIRC.

* Wireless in the old-fashioned sense, of course! None of this new-fangled internet stuff!

Half of UK 10-year-olds own a smartphone

This article should be titled "50% of parents are cunts"

my 10 year old has a smartphone, so if the 50% figure is correct, my wife must be a c**t.

People who can not deviate from the program.

They do their job in a certain way and couldn't possibly think on their feet.

I'm with you. It's called misophonia apparently. I hate a lot of sounds mind.

I've heard that term but I don't mind when animals or little children make mouth noises. Is it still the same thing?

[ajsccfc]

I'd like to think my daughter won't be using a smartphone until she's a little older, but to be honest if she had the attention span now at 8 months old I'd get her on the Playstation for a bit of peace.

I don’t think you’re a c**t if you don’t buy your kid a smart phone.

[hill83]

Yeah my lad will be getting one. Purely so he can contact me. Not entirely sure what age is appropriate though. Although I guess I could get the still fully charged from 1998 Nokia 3210 out for that.

[shmmeee]

I had my first computer aged 4. It’s 2020 FFS. My daughter uses tech for music, reading, education and keeping in contact with a split family.

Some people need to realise it’s not 1980 and a phone is hardly cutting edge tech these days.

[hill83]

Since we are on about technology.

Beryl from accounts who can’t use a computer dispite the fact her entire job is using a computer.

that's what happens when you hire a Beryl.

Fucking hell don’t get me started. In a previous life part of my job was getting teachers to use technology. The amount of them (usually English teachers) who would happily proclaim “lol I’m useless with computers” despite it literally being a core competency of the job that at the time new teachers had to pass a test in. But if I’d said “lol I can’t spell” they’ve had had me run out of there.

Yep, we have had it before in this thread and I have it.

For some reason particular noises become so loud.

Got my daughter an iPad when she was 2 and she had a phone at about 6 or 7.

The iPad was mainly to help with educational stuff as well, it doubled up to watch films etc on long journeys in the car.

The phone is to keep in touch with family who will text her, facetime etc.

As long as common sense is applied there's no issue at all.

No you are a c**t. And I won’t hear any more said about it c**t.
