Unfortunately from that angle you can't tell if the keeper got anything on the ball. You could also argue that wrights going in with a high foot. I didn't think it was a pen at the time and I'm still not 100% convinced from this ankle.
Don't think that's a high boot. He's looking to control the ball in an area of space, and the keeper comes out to challenge. I've not been able to tell if he got anything on the ball, but if he didn't, it's a penalty. I guess the ref couldn't be sure either, so had to give the benefit to the keeper. Don't really have a problem with that.

That decision could have gone our way, but the disallowed goal could have gone against.

Looked like handball to me

It's been getting worse for a lot longer than that. People are only just realising it.

Too many using the 'it is still better than most grounds in the league' unfortunately.

Proper lack of banter between fans, despite Bristol fans regularly goading us. Years ago that would have got people going.

‘No beer’ was just another shit excuse to sweep it under the rug.

Waiting for someone to claim the early kick off is to blame. Oh wait...

If you mean this one I 100% agree with you. Imagine that instead of a keeper it’s a defender that comes out, gets nothing on the ball and clatters into Wright. It gets given every time. I don’t know why keepers are allowed to do it?!

Keeper wanted a free kick for this as well!

Dasilva is such an unbelievably tidy player - just checked the stats, he had more touches than anyone on the pitch and made the same number of passes as Grimes. That touch bringing it down out of the sky after a Bristol clearance in the first half was sublime.
And with being the smallest player in the pitch he still won some important headers, including one in the build up to the goal.

Ref definitely missed a handball for a pen, but i think he got the Bristol goal one correct As for the gane overall thought we did ok, but at this stage 3 pts is more important than performance. FL will need to work on ways to break teams down as most if not all will come to sit back and catch us on the break. In my opinion we need to be better with our final ball and make sure runners are not going into the same space in the opposition 18 yard. We can still throw random crosses in but at certain situations we need to find a better final pass

You see some of the balls Sakamoto and Dasilva win in the air then you see Haji and Ellis and just wonder.

I was edge of my seat for most of the game - it was tense , it’s difficult to be all
Singing and happy when it’s a tight game - had it been 2-0 or more it would have been noisier - the players are also responsible somewhat by making it happen 😉

Reasons behind it but I think the atmosphere was unbearably shite yesterday. Take us back to 2022/2023 when the place was rocking with 24K of us.

The happy clappers/left-tards on the radio try and make out that it’s rocking every week, it’s really not.

“left tards” fucking hell if ever a man had been in desperate need to get off Twitter it’s when he’s pretending he knows Steve Ogrizovic’s politics because he doesn’t slag off the crowd on the radio.

The weird thing is there's definitely a correlation between the drop in atmosphere and the increase in stop the boats stickers!

Bristol city fans online are very salty at the ref after he “disallowed a goal for nothing”.

That was about a clear a handball as you can get and the only reason it went in because it was so clear everybody stopped.

When people display a certain level of stupid, it's not worth engaging with them.

Much needed hard fought win. Had to grind it out and they were unlucky not to level it at the end. Take the 3 points and on to the next game, if we draw away at St Mary's against a dangerous side who will expose our high line and lack of pace at the back. 4 points from 2 games is a fairly decent return against 2 banana skin fixtures.

I didn’t aim that at Oggy or Rob Gurney, who has grown on me this season, but more some of the soft people that call in.

It’s baffling when the atmosphere is as flat as a witches tit and we have to put up with a couple of half hearted PUSB’s but because we won, people call up and say ‘what an atmosphere Rob!!!!’.

The Mason Clarke song is a copy and paste song that half of the football league sing (despite some of our fans at Preston asking why the Preston fans were singing the Mason Clarke song 🤮) and that’s all that seems to get the crowd going these days.

Think we've become a bit entitled to be honest.

We're in a period of the season where the players really could do with our support as well.

That’s probably what I’ve not articulated very well. Our atmospheres were better when we were the underdog. Now it feels flat and expectant. We have very few original songs and PUSB is beyond half hearted at times and dies at Tottenham or Chelsea.

The atmosphere will be bouncing next season in the prem when we’re underdogs again.

It’s definitely a bit flat there now though. A bunch behind me were complaining about how shit our final ball is. We’re the highest scorers in Europe ffs. We’re not scoring every attack because nobody does.

I blame it on the change of drummer. Lets start a campaign for the release of the peado drummer

Yeah. I really wish people would just read the rules once in a while.

I presume the argument is it didn't hit his hand/arm, and I am fairly certain it did, therefore handball was correct. (I wish Thomas ignored appealing and focused on the game and I think he blocks it anyway)

That is how I understood it. It may have hit chest then arm and accidental, but if it helps him control it and he scores it is handball.
However if he had played it across the goal and someone turned it into the net the goal would stand.

Its the Luton play off final disallowed goal scenario.
