Yes of course it is but surely we would have been able to offer the same ? We are not that skint that we couldn't at least match the contract offer. Another thing that bugs me is if these other Clubs had been turned down by Robins why didn't we tie him up in a contract that would have made him...

Personally I would vote Yes.

Why would he make it up? He has left now and gains nothing by saying it. If Robins is the target for the venom it takes the heat off who?? This is what we need to decide,and don't forget the nice little windfall we have just received for Robins what is that going to be spent on??

Can't be all one way though you would need to build in that Club's cannot sack managers when there is a bad patch ...........................nah never going to work here !!:p

They would have to pay the council's valuation of it which could be any figure they decided on any given day.
