Goode is one of those sportsmen I really used to love when playing (England and Tigers). Then when they retire and you follow on social media the hero status crumbles when their views become clear. Shilton, Botham and Waddle are others that I can think of too.

Think FFP is being changed to an average over the next two years so SISU could be considering staying another year at Brum. Also with the Man City decision, FFP is bollox anyway. Anyone remember Leicester getting promoted to the Prem, breaking the FFP and then only getting fined £3m I think...

Not read this thread, but if we are planning to play the same formation next season, ie the box midfield, Chaplin would work really well. I rated him. Just didn’t play to his strengths.

Let them sweat it out. No fans probably until halfway through the season anyway. I know we need to be making a move back to Cov, but I really need a couple more games at Brum to ease me off that amazing pre/post game pub crawl!! .. I’ve LOVED every min of this season and not missed the Ricoh once.

SISU have brought years of lower league football. Yes it’s been fun, but we wasted years and years in leagues we never should have been in. IF we go up we’ll be in the same position as when they bought us, only without the potential of our own ground. Absolutely no way they are our best...
