£30m bombed out because he doesn’t like they want to play games

[Nick]

Madison starting

[shmmeee]

Surprised at 4atb. No Gboho or Tchaouna either!

[PVA]

No Gboho or Tchaouna is....odd

KKH back

[procdoc]

Looks like Gboho and Tchauna are bad apples. Get rid of both in January if not willing to work hard to earn their place

[Nick]

Surprised at 4atb. No Gboho or Tchaouna either!

Kkh and taiwo in though

It’s a bit of a worry that whatever happened hasn’t been sorted by now. Can’t be pissing away money like that.

[Nantwich Skyblues]

Trust in frank but I am a bit worried we will get over run playing a back 4

[shmmeee]

Kkh and taiwo in though

Good to see KKH back in the squad

[Lamps]

More bodies in midfield to try and stop their strong midfield. Don't think I would go that way.

should we sack him?

[covcity4life]

No touchana or gboho

[Ccfcisparks]

should we sack him?

What a silly suggestion

[MAFF]

Yeah I don’t know about that…

[Evo1883]

Asante for all his hard work shouldnt be keeping 35 mill of talent out

[TomRad85]

Idiotic bombing out 2 expensive wingers. Our wide options look very Championship.
Oh well, come on City!

Can't imagine King is overly happy about it either.

Lampard likes him. Managers like certain players and stick with them

[SeaSeeEffCee]

Surprised at back 4 and surprised that Sakamoto is starting. Really not ideal that £35m worth of summer signings can’t even get in the squad 7 games in. Those two need to sort themselves out if it’s down to attitude.

[jto123]

Maddison will score against us. It’s practically a rule that it must happen.

[Winny the Bish]

If Lampard is going to prioritise hard-working wingers over on-the-ball talent, why did we not sign wingers with great defensive numbers?

[Saddlebrains]

Mental to not see Gboho or Tchouana really with the money spent

He played v well Vs Newcastle and I expected him to start. Would be nice to have touchana on bench tho

Love saka but worried about him starting ganes

we’ve won two games in a row with hard working wingers

[covboy9]

Thought we’d go with a back 5

[Evo1883]

Its a mightily impressive stadium inside

[Nick]

Top of the league for forward passes

[lord_garrincha]

Telfer, Paul.

[Ccfcisparks]

Top of the league for forward passes

us or them?

[stupot07]

Burnley had our pants down with Tchaouna.

[Gibbo]

I think we will regret not going 5 at the back

[Evo1883]

Fair enough , mental to spend 15 million on a backup

[stupot07]

us or them?

Us.

19th for possession.

[Liquid Gold]

I'm surprised at leased one of Gboho or Loum aren't on the bench given the only sub option for the wings is EMC who looked like he was carrying a knock last week and BTA was blowing from 70 onwards (understandably because he was everywhere).

We've then got Onyeka, Torp & Hamer on the bench for 2 midfield spots.

[Winny the Bish]

we’ve won two games in a row with hard working wingers

I'm not saying it's a bad strategy, I'm questioning the recruitment process.
