What was our ‘lowest moment’?

Stewards couldn't even be bothered to fetch him, he just returned to his seat iirc. It was the turning point for us.

Speaking about around that time, I remember the post match interview with Mowbray after a loss, cant remember which game but without saying it he pretty much handed in his resignation. He certainly left not much longer. Sounded like a broken man, i remember thinking at the time we were screwed.

Shout out for pigs at Charlton too. Remember getting there late after they got chucked. Performance and result was dreadful. Was my nephew’s first game who, for a time, thought getting a squishie at a football match was par for the course

Flogging it to a company that he and his wife were directors of nonetheless, people soon saw through him

Mowbray is certainly a glutton for punishment because goes to these clubs knowing exactly how they operate and then bemoans he never has any money to spend, take his stint with us, Blackburn (where he has now gone back too) He makes some strange career choices in my opinion

The fans forum about the move to Northampton in the summer of 2013. That c'nt Fisher saying at the end of it "Coventry City will never play in Coventry again".

At that point for me the club was dead. It no longer existed.

Barnet away for me. Clive Eakin referenced this game as his low point when he retired-a terrible goalless draw in League Two. Our next away game in North London seemed a long way off that day. Forest Green Rovers away was pure comedy really, Watching us lose standing in the rain at the side of not much more than a park pitch at the top of a hill next to a school somewhere in the Cotswolds.

For a long time the background to the away tickets page on the website was a picture of the away end that day and I was in it!

I actually had a great day but the football was the low point!
I liked the Hive.

Id lost all hope and worse still I didn't care anymore.

Personally: Newport County Away in League 2. Parked on a dodgy street where everyone looked at us like we had just landed from Mars (ironic). Paid £5+ for a pint of Worthingtons Creamflow, got rained on for the whole game. Max Biamou saved us a point.

Collectively: Any of that Wasps stuff. I still cannot get my head around people that went to watch that. I'll get told off for using the word cuck but there's no other descriptive word in the English language. The whole thing baffles me, and thoughts of the stadium occupied by people in yellow scarves still gives me shivers.

In fairness, if it was a club/stadium ban not an FBO issued by the courts there is nothing and has never been anything stopping him turning up to away matches, club bans are unenforceable at games played away from home

My personal lowest moment following Coventry City came on December 4th 2016 - We lost 4-0 away at Cambridge who were a League below us at the time in the FA Cup having let Luke Berry, a central midfielder score all 4 goals against us, it was beyond doubt the worst most clueless performance I have ever seen a City side put in

Walking out of that ground (about 60 mins in) was the only time I have ever questioned my support for the club, I turned round to my dad and asked 'What is the point in all of this time, money and effort we waste on this club?' - I could have at that point happily not attended another game that season and the only reason I did was to A) Keep my dad company and B) Despite how shit we were I did enjoy the camaraderie of away matches back then

If you would have told me less than 10yrs later we would even be a Championship side, yet alone a Premier League one that day I would have put you in straight jacket myself

This was truly a very low moment

We are very lucky they and the Council's plan failed spectacularly. If Wasps had of took off without CCFC as a tenant, we'd of been fucked.

We went back a few weeks later in the league cup and got hammered even worse and I genuinely wondered at that moment what was the point. When we went down To League 2 it was at least on the back of a win at Wembley and the belief for me that we would go straight back up which we did although just !!

That era of 2016-2023 was my finished school and started college/uni, casual/part time work days and I went to both of those Norwich games Can't be more than 200 of us who can say they went to both

From games I was at personally, I don't count the Yeovil game as that was just a freak result in an otherwise run of good form that took us into the play-offs.

Mine was earlier in the season v FGR at home. October time. Some bloke ran on the pitch to confront Doyle. Lost 0-1. Crowd of 6K. 4.5 hour drive home due to road works, by myself because none of my mates were stupid enough to even consider it.

Forest Green brought about 10 fans that night and because of this were in block 4 of the west stand with no segregation. Remember going for a piss and the bloke next to me was wearing a FG shirt. That was a real reality shock as to how far we had fallen.

Couldn't wish the last 15 years on anyone...Except maybe Leicester.

It might not technically have been our "lowest" moment but for me then one that felt like the biggest kick in the teeth was announcing that we were leaving Coventry for a second time to play in someone else's stadium (St Andrews). Having endured it once already, leaving the city again just felt like we were properly on the death spiral to oblivion.

This. I hated the time at Birmingham with a passion. The journey, the getaway, everything. The only time I didn’t look forward to going to a match at all. Away games saved me.

I obviously like it much more when we’re winning but League 1, League 2, relegations are just part of being a fan. I remember some really good days and there was always next week.

I understand why many actively boycotted Northampton but I went, partly because my lad was at the age of getting into football. I didn’t mind it really, I enjoyed many of the games, but Birmingham was a different level somehow even though we were on the way to promotion.

It might be because it was the second time out of Coventry.
