If it happens, it could be today or it could be another day. If it’s not happening, it won’t be today.

yeah, but no, but yeah...

You just know Bloom has proper spread Kings cheeks but just want this boring saga at an end now. Announce today please.

That’s quite the image

I'm past caring now.

I've spent hours, days, weeks trawling this site for news whether he is or isn't.

Just stick a kid between the sticks.

We're going to run with most of last seasons squad imo.

Honestly in my lifetime I have never known a transfer to rumble on as long as this. Imagine after all this time we fail to sign him we'll be a laughing stock.

Hmm not sure. We still haven’t signed Nacho Novo.

Conor Chaplin went on for about a decade.

Or Adam Le Fondre

They're waiting for the thread to get to 100 pages before announcing.

The top reply is that page mentioned earlier that were taking a punt trying to claim credit.

[wingy]

.suggests they've settled at their end as much as we've banged the drum, verbruggen is off the market or they've got that Wonder kid over the line!

[Billfred]

Was it Crook that broke the story about him getting us on loan last summer?

Good this thread can be closed!

[Sky Blue Goblin]

Expect him to be his rightful place in goal for the two friendlies coming up. In the meanwhile we’ve got to get this thread up to 100 pages

Incredible reporting
"Coventry had a bid of £20m rejected"
"The deal is expected to be above £20m"

No shit

[AFCCOVENTRY]

Will be a key signing for us. Carl will be critical in getting points over the line for us.

What will be interesting to see is if we go for another keeper as a no.2 and Dovin goes out of loan.

[ajsccfc]

Better start buying presents now we're closing in on Christmas.

Alex Crook stated this a few weeks ago but dealing with Brighton transfers must be hard work for ITK people. I do feel it's for real this time. Rushworth not being on tour with Brighton seals it for me. Whilst it'll be nice to finally get it done there will undoubtedly be a sting in the tail from the contract clauses that'll favour Brighton significantly more than us I reckon.

[larry_david]

It was always happening. I can't believe the wallies on here crying over something because it hasn't happened yet in...checks dates with George, end of July.

He wanted it
We wanted it.
Brighton aren't stupid. His value goes down sat in their reserves, not up.

[ajsccfc]

If he comes in and joins this week he's followed a season with us and however long training wth Brighton by basically being 3-4 days behind Wright and BTA, which made the weeks of 'we need to move on' a bit premature.
