The feeling for me is we’ve made our usual list of summer targets then when push came to shove not had enough cash to bring more than one or two in and now we’re scrabbling around trying to find anyone to fill the glaring holes in the squad.

Who’s fault that is depends on what was said behind the scenes but I seriously doubt Robins is dumb enough to make a list of targets that are obviously out of our reach.
We don’t know do we the time to reflect and comment is September 1st. when the window has shut, i reckon there will be a bit of a mad splurge throughout the leagues that final few days of the window.

We don't have world class midfielders and attackers playing in front of two old centre backs who rarely got as far as the halfway line either.

I don't think you watched the Euros lol, they spent the entire final in England's half. Again it's all relative, pace isnt a necessity when its comes to being a good CB.

Expierence is as important because that allows you to make up for pace.cranie would be important for back up if nothing else.

Oh that game where England totally surrendered possession and sat so deep with a press that could not extract the juice from an Orange?

Im not against this move. We’ve got young, fast and exciting player. What we missed overall was championship savvy, calm heads to get the balance right with the youngster. Maybe a cranie type of player helps with that.

IF Rose and/or Hyam are fit for start of the season, then we will be ok. We have wide options this season in Bright and Jones, so could start with a back 4 if we have absolutely screwed up our recruitment

A massive part of staying up was down to James and osti they haven’t been replaced

These are big concerns but we've also improved the attack and have a years Championship experience under out belts.

And James was a January signing, I'd imagine we'll do some business in the coming January.

James isn’t God, however he’s a better player than anyone we had at the club last year and this year
It’s not rocket seconds is it? He was a good all round player and we don’t have him now. Hence weaker all day long in that position. Hopefully we get someone but a massive loss in my eyes.

What was the reaction when we signed him? Universal approval or did he get "the treatment"?
