Just disappointing as a draw was there to be had tonight. We have played
Arsenal
Man city
Brighton
Newcastle
Spurs
In 5 of our 7 games and we're not in the relegation zone
Every game is tough but on paper our fixtures will be better match ups for us now and worse for our rivals
Alot of reasons for optimism imo
Have to say Hamer looked decent when he came on. Just offered so much more in passing and set pieces.
Also looked a lot fitter.
He hit a lovely pass out just after he came on , his dead balls are always a threat and he linked up well I thought .Hamer was dangerous. One of the funniest things I have seen. Terrible buy, was never going to fit in to our formation.
We weren't, which makes it harder to take. Poor substitutions .I don’t think we were that bad
For sure. If we are playing a 4-4-1-1 I want to see Tuna and Gboho with Yirenkyi and Onyeka adding steel in the middle. Grimes did drop deeper today to get more of the ball but did nothing worthwhile with it.Lampard’s big task is getting players like Gboho and Tchaouna apart of the squad, whether that’s attitude or fitness we need £30 million pounds of players performing for us and giving us the option.
Gave the ball away more times than I could count. Just because he runs a lot doesn't make him goodHe was fine, massive confirmation bias against him
He might as well leave. Frank doesn't rate him. Even though Awoniyi can't run.Wondering what Simms has to do?
He really wasn’t - He gets the ball and runs into trouble, all the time - or just gives the ball away. I get we need players running all day on the wing but him and Sakamoto are not the answersWas our best player first half , weird take that one
Tbf, Spurs are rubbish and barely win at home. I don't think you should be adding them to that list.We have played

Nah - one thing I’ll credit him with is he gets back to help defending can get the ball moving but 90% of the time he just runs into trouble or gives the ball awayHe was fine, massive confirmation bias against him
I would have KKE instead of MVE. Milan needs to know he can be dropped.Fulham line up is simple:
Cherif
BTA Rudoni Sakamoto
Yirenkyi Onyeka
JDS Pinnock Thomas MVE
Rushworth
But it’ll be Grimes![]()
Agree. Potentially our best player again. Certainly doesn’t look apologetic to be here which some doHe was fine, massive confirmation bias against him
We just don’t do it. Never have. Our full backs have never closed down and won’t changeRushworth ultimately cost us , but a player shouldnt be able to mis control the ball several times on the wing and still get it in the middle without pressure ... we are FAR TOO PASSIVE in and around our own area off the ball .
Franks subs were a bit of a killer too but really we cant have 2 wingers picking up thousands each week while the team suffers
1:No more favourites
2:Sort out the off field stuff which damages us more than the players
Moving forward we need to be quicker in possession, is that with grimes? I don’t think it is! We’re too slow in our build up and the opposition get back into shape which them makes it’s harder for us to attack.Disappointing because it felt like we didn't give it our best shot. Spurs didn't look any better than us bar Maddison who was given the time and space to run the game while he was on.
Some poor performances from the likes of Rushworth and MvE. Grimes needs to be dropped and at the very least never, ever left to take a set piece again.
Most of the subs were just odd.
Onyeka for Yirenkyi I agree with as he was going to get himself sent off.
I get the EMC for BTA sub as BTA was his usual run around and work hard but be very poor at the actual football bit. EMC has hardly shown much thus far though so it was more in hope than expectation I think - maybe hoping coming on against tired legs would give him that extra little advantage to make a difference.
Awoniyi given the nod ahead of Simms who scored and looked confident last week - Frank is just man-managing him so poorly.
Torp should have been on before Hamer, and how on earth Grimes was the only starting midfielder left on at the end? He's like the opposite of Simms - no matter how poorly he plays he's still be in the team.
KKH getting game time - fine. Coming on for Rudoni - WTF!
All in all it felt like a game we could have got something from but for some poor tactical and individual decisions.
He lacks any real quality though which hampers us ultimately , his work rate is superbHe was fine, massive confirmation bias against him
