Transfer Rumour Summer Transfer Window 2026 (30 Viewers)

He keeps saying it. The reality, I imagine, is that we’ll see a series of 15-25m signings coming in to replace the likes of Allen, Brau, Bassette, Esse, Bidwell etc. So I think it is possible as others have said to strengthen and see the core of our squad playing next year.

Of course he keeps saying it. Why would he change what he says now?

So you believe what he says yet also you think we will be making a series of 15m to 25m signings? 🤔

Let's see if we make any free/loan signings. Spending 25m on any players would soon eat our budget up. The big signings will be in another year after we stay up.

I've heard the Harriot rumour from elsewhere and am wondering if he's just regurgitating that, it is just a rumour though so have no idea if there's anything to it.

Our transfer business under King has been very good. The 'experts' on here would have sold Gyokeres and Hamer for much less as they both were in the last year of their contracts. We built a squad most thought was a waste of money. Best of all now some people seem to think he should be saying our present players are not good enough even though we will be keeping over half of them.

If King was saying we're going to spend a lot of money the asking prices would go up. Just like last season I'm at ease with the situation. We have given new contracts to the players we want to keep. Simms has 1 year left so doesn't seem to be a part of the plans considering he only has 1 year left. I can see someone like Wolves or West Ham selling players to reduce their wage bill and bringing in proven Championship players like Simms. Maybe even a player plus cash swap.

As I said earlier the new financial year starts in less than a week. That's when I expect things to start happening.

Totally agree, we have been very good in the transfer market. We are a far more professional outfit now and don't give anything away. Like you said giving information / figures away could drive up the value of our targets. We have signed some very good players over the last few years who we will get some good re-sale value on and also improved players year on year.

A lot of teams will wait till 1st July to confirm transfers so they appear on next year's (July 2026 to June 2027) financial figures.

Errr. Yes. That’s precisely what I said.

Yeah, I’ve always thought more likely 5-6 big signings and a couple of others rather than 10-11 new faces.

Hull have apparently bid £12-14m for Raskin at Rangers. Rangers want £20m+

Have they tried not telling Rangers they want him? According to the transfer strategy geniuses on here that’s how you keep costs down.

My point more is… which players of ours would clubs in the championship want to buy a stick bids in for realistically.

So far none of our players have been courted openly in the press by other clubs which being a title winning club you’d hope to see

RIP Barney
Japanese keeper looks decent .

Looks a real quality player

We really need to be in for him.

Plays on the left and would be our MVE equivalent we’ve been crying out for but today he was on the right and still looked fantastic!

Very versatile, can play defence or higher up today like he did… made it look easy
