Anybody else terrified at the pace Chelsea and Fulham are playing at? Think we’d struggle against either!

I actually think this whenever I watch any one on TV. Not sure why but they always look better than us. Must be a pessimism thing or TV thing 🤷‍♂️

Its because we watch our own team in a way where we are critical of every single thing they do. When you watch a game involving 2 random sides, you don't really do that, you just enjoy it for what it is.

Fulham looking much better than I thought they would despite the scoreline.

bassey just got booked for diving after saying it wasn't foul to the ref

Ref was a bit quick to show the card. I think when Bassey put his arm up he thought he was appealing for the foul.

Sanchez was awful as usual. No idea why Chelsea who’ve spent billions haven’t signed a decent keeper

Seen a post on a random transfer rumour site (possibly BBC) that Man U want to buy Lewis-Skelly from Arse. They'd be MAD to sell him, wouldn't they? One of their standout players in the first two matches. Absolutely everywhere.

Must be for FFP reasons then or SCR I suppose

Forest looking to sign Delap for £50 million

Teams do like to sell academy graduates as it helps massively with PSR. Also once everyone is fit he is back to the bench.

So he's been absolutely dire and somehow managed to almost double in value! Market is cooked.
Enzo Fernandez is also going to Man City for an eye watering amount, which will then trigger an eye watering amount going to Bournemouth for Alex Scott.

League's broken

You really shouldn't get relegated if you have been in for more than a couple of seasons should you. Really have to fumble hard.

Which goes to show how impressively shit Tottenham were being run to be at serious risk of going down even on the final day, with more money than most of the league.

Just me who thinks Delap is shite and living off one purple patch?

If he is England's next No. 9 after Harry Kane we are in for a long few years on the international stage

I guess if he gets a decent run in the team at Forest we'll see either way. The fee is ridiculous given his record

On the proviso they get a couple more bodies through the door this week I think Newcastle may fly under the radar and have a decent season, other than Arsenal they were probs the team that impressed me the most at the weekend, desperately unlucky not to win

Chelsea look like they might be the entertainers and win 3-2 or 4-3 every week - I think Joao Pedro can run Haaland mighty close in the golden boot running, lovely footballer - Chelsea's goalie and defence are holding them back from being a credible title challenger

Every team has a bad season every now and then . The smaller teams can't afford to get their recruitment wrong and if they do they will put their PL place in jeopardy. The ones who come up don't always go down

Agreed, Chelsea was probably too much too soon, he was also injured which never helps.

What it does show is how the Chelsea model works, shit loads of stock to trade to keep liquid in the market.

Semenyo or something like that has just made the most filthy pass. Unbelievable

that Palace squad on paper doesn’t seem all that. Could do with Wharton or Munoz leaving before the window closes
