TM would have to hand in his resignation for the club not to get compo. He is still under contract, if any club wants to talk to him they will, if he is under contract the buying club will arrange fee and take it from there.

If they have allowed an approach they won't be entitled to compensation.

Still another good bit of conspiracy there.

Then the club refuses it , meaning he cannot take any other job. If it was that easy every player and manager would do it anytime they fancied a move.

If only he was a member on this forum, then he'd know not to bother turning up for an interview as TM already has the job!

If that's true then Stubbs has effectively been offered the role. A press release from the local paper in Sheffield confirms he is their man if he wants it.

If a club refuse's permission then normally the buying club moves on to the next target, if anyone is under contract its in the favour of the club and rightly so. But players have refused to play or make it known they want out, managers normally stick it out until the contract is up or wait until they get fired.

Stubbs confirmed as Rotherham manager.

Let's shut this one down now, eh?
