Indeed WS. Dulieu stated quite confidently that the value of the squad had increased under his tenure because of the value of the players' contracts. The whopper given to Bell (contract, not delicious burger) was likely done purely to demonstrate this.
Waggy has been their only worthy appointment.
At board level, I agree. Although I would have liked to have seen Cloughting (spelling?) on a different board. Very passionate about the community of Coventry and how the club could influence and help the vulnerable of our society but due to the circumstances and the supposed pressure of being in what was only a few yards away from being described as footballs answer to The Avengers or Justice League of a board, he didn't get the opportunity he required to make an impact. Although his comments about bed sheets were a bit disappointing.
