Empty Seats (3 Viewers)

There were some at times but of course last year they could be transferred easily. Once an individual purchases that seat as long as they are not contravening club rules by giving it to banned persons or away supporters or selling purely for profit then it should be theirs to pass on to friends and family.
Clubs hands are tied, it’s a prem rule that tickets can’t be shared informally.

Look at other Premier League clubs, you stick in the email of the person you're giving the ticket to and that's it, job done.

We've made it way too complicated to the point that people can't be arsed to mess around and risk problems with their own ticket.

It’s embarrassing how many there still are. Also, why does it take so many people so long to come back from half time? I thought we were there to watch the football, not to stand around getting pissed?
Personally, I don't have a problem with fans having a pint at half time.

I would do myself but I want to see the whole of the second half so I don't at the CBS.

Spurs seemed to have it sorted though. Managed a pint whilst hearing both the whistles either side of half time.

Yet again today. It's embarrassing and makes our support look shite. Get it sorted Doug.
It was a sell out. If people don't want to resell their ticket that's their prerogative.

it does not help that the resale value from the club can only buy crap food I personally wouldn't touch with a bargepole or a voucher for club apparel that doesn't even cover the price of a single desirable garment. To me the voucher is more or less worthless.

It was a sellout on Friday with literally half a dozen seats left…roll on Saturday morning and there were loads available - most from ticket exchange - in every area of the stadium (even a block of 5 in block 18)
Also dark blue dots appeared like magic too.
I doubt any of the ticket exchange tickets were sold Saturday morning .

It’s a bit pathetic I think, just list the exchange tickets available straight away and accept that paying the ‘seller fee’ (via voucher, no less) is a cost of doing business. Feel like we’re trying to protect our margins at the expense of actually selling tickets.

They are not going to list the exchange tickets if the general admission tickets haven’t sold out.Makes no sense.

Tbf they are probably just avoiding Ghost Town screeching through the P.A. It felt like I was being punished by Doug for being back to my seat on time rather than buying another drink

This issue really isn't worth getting your knickers in a twist over. It happens up and down the country.

Villa Park was the same last night and them lot are the first to point fingers.

Think we need to start opening the exchange when we get to something like 95% sold.

Once its odd tickets here and there in the corners of the ground you'll get people waiting for it to sell out so they can get 'better' tickets on the exchange.

Put my son's ticket on the exchange on Wednesday as he wasn't going to make it back for the game. Looks like it didn't go on sale til the Saturday morning....and then didn't sell. Really need to get my arse in gear with that burner phone and invite a mate.

Absolutely shed loads at the end of the game.

Really not sure why people leave early, especially games like yesterday where we actually can enjoy a victory celebration after.

Appreciate train times are absolutely shite and there will always be the odd personal circumstance (eg I was due to leave early yesterday for a party albeit I didn’t, oops) but I doubt everyone who left early was getting the train.

Blokes in front of me go for a beer at 30 mins, come back around 55 and leave at 80 every game. I get it’s all still money for the club etc, but what’s the point!

I thought this yesterday 80th minute onwards and the North Stand had emptied by at least 50%. By the time the players got round there for celebrations it was empty.

Go to any game anywhere in England and I guarantee it's the same.

I've been the 'I'm here for the beer' soldier.
I've been the 'game's done, let's fuck off early soldier '
I'm currently a final whistle soldier.

Not gonna moan about ST holders spending their time how they see fit.

I would imagine they're meeting up before the match for beers, get to have some beers throughout the match and then go to the pub after for beers. The football is probably an interest between them which brings them together.

If I planned to leave a game on 80/85 minutes. I just wouldn't attend. Would completely ruin the experience for me. Surely people can come up with ways so they can stay to the end of the game

My lad cant get to every game.
He lives in Manchester works late so can't make midweek games very often.
I paid for his ST it is mine to do as I please.
I Don't want some randomer sitting next to me, getting upset at my language and load whistling.

It's the same with me & my son who has gone to Australia for 3 months. I have his ST on an old phone & have sold the 3 games he has missed so far to my brother, someone on here and a friend of the guy with the ST next to us & I have just given them my spare phone to get in.

Exactly what I do.
But some games no one wants it!!

We haven't actually played a 'proper' Premier League home game yet - Brighton are for sure one of the best sides in Europe but they do not really carry that sort of aura, the rest of the home games have been against fellow bottom half fodder - Maybe a bit of a hard sell if you cannot use your ticket

I think when we play Villa, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal at home etc. there will barely be a seat to be had

Delete ST on your son's phone.
Forward ST email to a friend.
Friends adds ST to wallet then delete after the game.
Repeat for other friends/family when your son can't make a game.

It works fine doing it this way as long as the ST is only active on one phone at a time.
A bloke near me has 2 x ST's and brings someone different every game.

If people keep not turning up, and not putting their ticket on the exchange, Doug will make it compulsory, and rightly so

How will they do that? CCFC will only know that you haven't turned up after the game has finished. They can't act after the game has finished as there could be a genuine reason for missing the game 🤔
