Digital Season Ticket Issue Thread (2 Viewers)

Not looking for an argument, just an answer please.
So if someone was daft enough to download the season ticket on to their own phone, is there any way they can now swap it to a spare/burner phone.

Yes. I downloaded mine & my son's ticket to my android phone but had an issue scanning my ticket after my son had gone in, despite selecting my ticket the reader kept trying to read his ticket again & it took 5 or 6 attempts for me to get in. Today I have deleted my son's ticket & downloaded it to my spare phone.

You don’t have to download again, it will refresh nearer the time.

Surely they will just send another email?

I thought it would just update close to the game? Didn’t see any instructions about “keep this email safe” etc unless I am totally confused here.

You don’t. People are just forcing the update. It will auto update closer to the game.

Yay it worked, reloaded from original email without deleting the pass in the wallet and it's updated to the Brighton Game.
This is my favourite way to proceed I can turn off notifications and avoid the offers I don't want.

Yeah but you’re on a Google phone? A company that makes its money by tracking you and sending spam and targeted ads.

If you care about privacy so much get an Apple device cos they make their money through overpriced hardware and don’t need to sell your data. Just seems weird to be so overly concerned about ads and spam then buy from the biggest ad company on the planet.

To be clear I think privacy concerns for someone not likely to be blackmailed by the Russian or Chinese govt is silly but if that’s your aim you’ve backed the wrong horse.

I'm not sure how you think I get spam from google, Sure there are a load of sponsored ads at the start of the earch engine listing & the results are curated but all the search engines are much the same. I don't get many spam emails and I generally immediately unsubscribe.
Obviously they have loads of data on everyone who uses maps, photos, credit card details in wallets etc. etc.

If I was paranoid about it I'd get a degoogled android but they're usually a bit flakey. All I'm trying to do is put a lid on annoying notifications, I'm not going to give up t'internet and go live in the woods.

Yeah I thought it may have dropped into there but nope, was nowhere to be seen.

If that happens after Brighton check 'view more passes' and then 'Archived passes', it should have gone in there in which case you don't need to do anything as it should then also pop back up in your normal list when the next match updates

I’ve just phoned the ticket office and they tell me if you buy a ticket for the cup game it will go straight into your wallet . So I can’t buy it as a present for a good friend and send it to them.

Am I misremembering because I thought that was how it worked with the cards as well. Don't remember ever having separate tickets for the cup.

If you are sitting in your exact seat then it might well just get added.

If you sit in the South Stand and need to be moved, it will probably be a normal digital ticket.

But if its not for you wouldn't you assign the ticket to the right person when you buy it? Or are you trying to buy a ticket for someone who doesn't have a membership or whatever the fuck you need now?
