Sat next to a guy in his 60's last night and all he did was watch the away fans .Why I don't know? The only time i looked was when they started moving the netting. Why were they allowed to do it ? It was not lack of seating as there were plenty of seats by the security box..In general I thought plod dealt with it pretty well

A few lads got jumped by about 10 blues fans in the car park after the underpass. They weirdly made a very big point of declaring they were the blues mob by constantly repeating “We’re the fucking blues”. Was almost like they weren’t the blues but wanted people to think they were. Didn’t see the very start but few cov lads were walking then running away and blues fans chased, punched and kicked them to the floor. Thankfully, once they were on the floor one of them ensured they didn’t take any more of a pasting. Just no need for it at all.

There was four of us, including a girl, and we saw that group in car park C wearing SI, and gave them a wide berth as you could tell that they were looking for victims. What sort of wankers, whoever they support, hang around in a gang after the match hoping to hurt people? Utter scum.

There was at least one police spy in the sky drone above the Arena last night hopefully they have filmed incidents like the above for future reference.

The worrying thing is every club appears to have these 16 -20 year olds coked up looking for trouble including us. I couldn’t believe how openly people were doing Coke on the train to Sheffield at 9am in the morning. By the time we arrived into Sheffield at 10.20 there was about 20+ lads in the carriage I was in coked up and pissed already.

Just got talking about this again and weirdly one of the lot I was with recorded a very brief part of it. So, for the first time ever the police made us cross under the underpass into car park C, which then screwed us over as we couldn't get back across the dual carriage way easily. As we came out the underpass into the car park about 30 yards behind us heard all this 'Blues' 'Zulu's shit and turned around and a group of them looked to have randomly ambushed a couple of Cov fans. This was a short clip of it. They eventually managed to escape up to the dual carriageway barriers but again, as there's not a natural crossing, it's hardly a suitable exit plan. There was also no police in Car Park C to stop it. The way it is policed is an absolute shambles.

Picking on lads who clearly aren't looking for it and are massively outnumbered. Absolute cowards and complete scum. No doubt they'll walk round giving it Billy big bollocks claiming some kind of victory. That's what you expect from Blues though.

All they were ever going to do after the shoeing they got outside the turnstiles for 14/15 before the game

They didn't even seem to realise that they were directing the fans to basically meet head on by the roundabout as well. stupid lace to park up their rail replacement buses

Another massive issue was when we approached the underpass I spoke to three or four different policewomen and men asking how we get back to this side of the road as we were heading down Bedlam Lane to our car. They were all Birmingham police, or it was a massive coincidence that the local police had Brummie accents, and they didn't know the area well they just insisted we went through the underpass and we couldn't go up our usual route. Surely crossing a dual carriageway with no designated crossing area is more dangerous than policing fans up the hill on the correct side of the road?

All they done was make us meet up further from the ground drones dogs etc didn’t make much difference I seen the same 15 young lads around that area and outside Pizza Hut,apparently a lot of cov and Brum down by wheatsheaf after with police with blue lights on all over the place

Yep Brum police and security even arguing with Cov fans...how can Brum police direct fans in a different city to them ?

Didn't see or here about any trouble last night. The police seemed to have done a good job.
Also seems like some on here are a bit disappointed by that.
How have you logged onto a thread discussing people being randomly jumped by Blues fans and said that people are disappointed by a lack of trouble.

Unlike Birmingham 20 on 2/3.

It's exactly what they were trying outside the turnstiles by block 15. As the other post below said, it wasn't pretty for them when they realised they were right outside the Coventry end.

When we arrived quite late walking past casino about 100 zulus were getting escorted by the police to there end of the ground followed by Barrington and a few other people. Alot of them are younger lads trying to make a name for themselves with the older hooligans. Fuck me find a field and have a scrap with like minded neanderthals.
