It’s interesting how those who are most critical of the team and seem determined that certain players fail......respond to being called out on their nonsense.

The stack of responses gets ever wider and more remarkable ranging from:

‘You like him because he takes selfies’

‘You never go to games so you can’t have an opinion like me’

‘It’s an Internet forum innit so we’ll write whatever unfounded abuse we want and you’re not cut out for this.’

To the new favourite:

‘You’re just trying to get likes and score points on the internet.’

WTF.

Reminds me so much of Brexit slogans - which mean absolutely nothing and show there is nothing of substance.

Here we go the self appointed Matthew Hopkins of the group pops up

I genuinely believe that some don't comprehend we have eleven players trying to counter what we are trying to do. It's a though everything we do has to come off otherwise the negativity kicks in.
Sometimes I can't see some teams style of play( like Wycombe when they play us) but others like MK Dons have a clearly defined way of playing and are decent, on the other hand I believe our style of play is a challenge for most in this league.
You have to earn the right to impose yourself and that is not a given.
I can't condone the over reaction however it's really the we are going to win 5-0 brigade that just expect us to to roll over the opposition.

Agreed. And if it’s absolute nonsense (random example, #taxiforrobins), others have a right to call it out?

You can try and counter an opinion - might be better if you read it in the first place but you never actually offer any opinions while the game is on at all do you?

I struggle to call the opposition fans wankers, tell the ref to fuck off, signal that Robins is an arrogant c**t, hide and drink my beer at the same time and lob bags of shit about whilst typing on my phone as well to be fair.

All while holding a piss in.

I said twat so a misrepresentation

Laughing. Another meaningless statement to add to the long list of nonsense #selfies #internetpoints #fanswhowatchonifollowarenotfans #hearmeouttaxiforrobins

No because either people comment while at the game or they don’t - you choose not to never actually offer an opinion and then whine when you get anything lobbed back.

Oddly I’d say 90% of my posts yesterday were positive and yet you and your puritanical army focus on one that wasn’t

I’ve said I think Robins is not a great tactical manager, he definitely got lucky yesterday and rides his luck a lot. As another poster said he’s a paint by numbers manager - it’s a great analogy

Mmmm not sure other managers would like the luck to play all games away from home without half the support and money he may have at his disposal.

I was clamouring for a change but he probably knew rose and McFadzean were struggling so didn’t want to risk going down to 10

we just can’t see what he does. Walsh was really cross and upped his game and the ball fell well.

you know you make a lot of your own luck

The playing away thing I don’t think matters

Godden is the biggest financial outlay since who - Eastwood?

Hmmm. We could spend on Godden because we took 7 figure fees for Chaplin and Bayliss, only reason

No it isn’t. We will lose a shed load this year and normally these sales purely bridge the gap. When Wilson and Clarke were sold no money was available for replacements

The master fund loans already are at £1.3 m

The latest meaningless slogan from #taxi has arrived: ‘you don’t offer an opinion.’ It really is comical.

Perhaps you could offer an opinion about where you think Mark Robins’ strengths are?

It might make you appear less of a wum m8

He’s good at man management with younger players always has an impact with teams in the short term and has a far closer relationship with the owners than any other manager

Just watched the extended highlights
Pretty impressive football
Max is coming on leaps and bounds. The game management in the final minute when he took the ball to the corner flag and drew a foul was something we've been missing with so many young players in the side
And if his overhead kick had gone in it would have been all over Sky for the whole weekend

Max did so much good work in those 7 injury time minutes to keep us down the field in the corners.
Really impressive.

Seeing as what we spend is capped by our turnover...yeah it is.

Luckily for us, aside from being good at giving out haribo to the youngsters & meeting Joy for tea at Coombe, Mark Robins is also very adept at winning football matches, and has been for over 3 years :)

No it isn’t. The fact is we sold Callum Wilson and purchased Josh Mcquoid. The sale of McCallum was done to prevent such issues. You honestly think Sisu will not for the fourth year running be supplying a unsecured loan?

Surely in the medium term now are we not?

Robins key attribute is his unusually positive relationship with Sepalla and Fisher. He’d be better ultimately in a director of football role as the City if Culture looms as he is very vocal against the council and also Wasps and would have football credentials to have a voice

What about the general style of play? The passing game. It’s the best we’ve seen in many years isn’t it?

I hasten to add, generally speaking, not yesterday specifically..... closing that exit door for you m8

Question: “are we not into the medium term now under Robins?”

Answer: “Robins gets on well with SISU”

Portsmouth spent £1.5-2 million on Marquis and he’s scored 6 league goals...

McNulty and Grigg between them have 6 goals in all competitions, 4 in the league. Grigg cost £4 million and has scored 1 goal in 19 league games.

Only strikers from Top 6 teams to have strikers with over 10 goals so far: Lapado - 10 goals, Norwood - 11 goals, Toney and Elisa - 21 and 13 respectively.

Our striking options don’t seem that bad right now. Not perfect, but reasonably good.

Ok so if Godden, Biamou and Bakayoko were all ending their contracts this year which if you were the manager would you retain and why?
