Subs made all the difference. That last 30 minutes is what we want to see. They were not brilliant but definitely positive signs of what we can do.

Lots of bad there but some good stuff. Simms off the mark early, I like the look of Thomas-Assante, you can see he’ll be frustrating but he chases everything and gets into dangerous positions. The fact we brought Jamie Allen on to sort out the midfield says it all. Nothing is happening this season without more quality in there. Thought Torp showed flashes but not consistent enough. Needs sheaf and one other in long term. Would genuinely play Lats over Thomas at RCB, but even better get an experienced head in who can organise that back line.

Good to have Simms scoring and will do his confidence all the good.

BTA looked good and caused the defence issues with his hustle.

Wilson was solid and didn’t put a foot wrong.

Defence is where the heart in the mouth issues are. I’m just not convinced with the central defenders.

Anyway at least we’ve won a game of football and a clean sheet.
