From the OP's team I would change Van Aanholt for McCallum, Stephens for Ostigaard and Hamer for Murphy. The latter change would mean a change of system, and also a stronger team.

Not so sure about this. Sheaf was brought in to replace/cover for Kelly. As back up it would probably be simpler to recall Eccles in January than invest in another defensive midfielder given Kelly is due back in March. We could always bring Walsh back though :)

Sorry, but the year they were European champions they were only the 11th best team in England, and finished only a few points above us.I can't think of a weaker team to have won that trophy in my time watching football.
