    Palmer was having an excellent game, instead of bringing Simms on for Godden ( both give us nothing) an option worth trying would have been play Palmer up front. He’s got the build , holds the ball well, has a cracking shot and wants the ball. Problem solved

    Wonderful player, I remember him running from our 18yard box to the opponents box beating so many on the way before scoring. Might have been against Huddersfield (could be wrong). It was shown on tv to.

    Think you’re spot on with the new coach, defence seems more confident and cohesive. They’ve stopped the silly mistakes and when they get in trouble they don’t mind finding touch.

    Maurice Setters R.I.P

    I remember Ian Gibson nutmeging him in the pre match kick around. Crowd thought it hilarious seeing that ball whipped through his bowed legs. If Maurice could have caught Gibbo he’d have killed him. Great servants to our club.
