Proud of the team, would have been tough going into the break with 5 defeats

[covcity4life]

First were in europeokn semi final last year and we just beat them away

With a "championship" team

Well done to the clubs recruitment team. Clearly kept players they think can develop and adapt to prem

[Tealeaf]

If Yirenky ever packs up playing football he would make a great wrestler

[Cally Fedora]

That will do us no end of good. Special mention for BTA. Takes endless stick but always does a job, whenever and wherever asked.

[Ashdown]

What a well timed tonic…beautiful!
Love VAR

[MAFF]

Yirenkyi was fucking outstanding, everyone was, but he was another level

No idea how he wasn’t booked. Must have committed about 8 fouls

[covcity4life]

Some posters missing???

[Lamps]

Dasilva to open the scoring with a flopping joke of a goal = instant legend

LB assisted by the GK. We're doing it the Cov way

Waited over 25 years for that

[BackRoomRummermill]

Seeing the team play they really put in 1000% it was a great group effort

That’s all we want. I said earlier today o just want to see the players give it all for the badge.

Safe and well on @Saddlebrains please

Let’s watch the goal again…

[Shannerz]

No idea how he wasn’t booked. Must have committed about 8 fouls

He was brilliant, but also very naive at times. Some of the grappling was so unnecessary and gave away pointless dangerous free kicks,

[Sky_Blue_Daz]

Fantastic result dipped in and out of here and had the radio in in the staff room, looking forward to match of the day later, might even have a beer as well

[clint van damme]

No idea how he wasn’t booked. Must have committed about 8 fouls

Think the ref was just dazzled by his magnificence

[SIR ERNIE]

The usual happy clappers happy with that team

Perhaps now you'll shut the fuck up with your endless criticism of the quality of the squad and moronic negative comparisons with Hull.

[Cov. Kids. Never. Quit]

Who's have thought Dasilva scores our first Premier League goal. Fucking amazing.

Great assist from Rushworth.

[simlaT]

Brilliant Cov. Up & running.

[Skybluedogwood]

Fair play to Glasner, no moaning about VAR or suggesting that they were hard done by the result.

[Domo]

Brilliant game today, so pleased for JDS, onwardsssssssss

[jto123]

Redknapp just said that Coventry doesn’t turn on Forest fans. Fuming. Think we’re sexy bastards.

[only farms]

Most assists in the premier league by a GK you’ll never sing that

What a win, & performance . Fine goal by Da Silva and what an assist by Rushworth. I love VAR.

[Sky_Blue_Daz]

Let’s watch the goal again…

International class first touch, world class finish well done JDS

[Chris1987]

Yirenkyi gave a lot more assurance than MVE . It was a great effort all round - there was some proper fight today. Like many I was rather surprised at the line up but Frank got it right . Still have my doubts about Grimes but it's all about the points and celebrating the win.

That was exactly how we should be playing in the PL. We can’t constantly attack. If we do, we’ll get battered every week.
Sit back, soak up the pressure, catch them on the break.
It’s not pretty, but it’s the only way to play against technically better teams

[only farms]

And a big shout out to the SBA could be heard all game on sky

[AFCCOVENTRY]

Let’s celebrate VAR (for once in our favour)

[Cov-lad]

well battled win nice 1 lads needed that so much and a big nod to the SBA played another blinder sang your hearts out

So happy JDS got our first premier league goal in 25 years. Stood up for him and proven right. I like to think he scored it for me!

Jay Dasilva our top scorer

You may be referring to supporters like me who thought the team selection was wrong. Absolutely delighted that I was talking out of my arse. Just back from the pub in Padstow, over the moon Saint!

[Hybridtheory]

Was a blatant foul I have no idea what those forest wankers are complaining about

I have no doubts today

[2024/25 League 1 Champs?]

Onyeka was excellent, Grimes no. The game past him by at times that any contribution was limited and just not effective overall.

Grimes actually put us in the shit quite a few times - he’s off the pace at the minute, the same as one or two others but it’s more noticeable in his position and given the role he played last season
