Absolutely fantastic! I know Thomas-Asante lacked quality at times but what an incredible shift by him. Kept hassling for 96 minutes. Defence were superb.

[HuckerbyDublinWhelan]

OMG well done lads good performance Thomas is a one man defence at times

What a load of bollox.

Morgan Freeman was superb alongside him today.

[Cally Fedora]

Booooom. That’s the one. Negative bollocks away you go.

[Great_Expectations]

Wow. Amazing.

I actually think the majority of us losing it pre game makes the result feel even better actually.

All part of the plan.

[DT-R]

Brilliant tactic by Frank.

[Perennial Lurker]

What a win

Apologies for me doubting Onyeka before today

Top performances from every player today

[Terry_dactyl]

Absolutely brilliant. I was a bit emotional there. Fantastic.

[covmark]

Some of the dross written on here earlier looks pretty silly now. What a superb performance. Defending was heroic at times and what a finish by Dasilva.

[Johnnythespider]

Off the bottom

[ptr]

Shock the twats that said they were boycotting the game have deleted their posts. On Twatter.

[HadjiChippo]

Palace to get hammered 5-0 tomorrow

[Paul Anthony]

Is that Jay Dasilva's best performance in a city shirt? I think so!

Credit to Thomas and Pinnock, really stood up to be counted today. Rudoni, I thought out a real shift in. Even BTA, whole not the best footballer on the planet, worked his nuts off. Really the whole team got stuck in for that result.

Given the Brighton result, and on reflection, we're probably only 3 points away from par, that being the Hull game, and even a draw in that would probably have had us on par.

Wow, I can't believe it! Ton up! And now we can actually enjoy the international break!

[Mucca Mad Boys]

Some you can stop pissing and shitting the bed now.

[Paxman II]

Definately well earned. Not a day to criticise really but I just have to say the game past grimes by. Thought for sure he would have brought Torp on. That aside we were good. The spirits back and the belief is back becuase it's not every day you face Arsenal and Man City away in opening fixtures.
