Digital Season Ticket Issue Thread (2 Viewers)

Next Doug will be asking us to connect to 5g or implant our season ticket as a chip and we will all start to be talking subconsciously about rapeseed oil

Turnstiles open at 1:30 and the message asks everyone to be in by 2:00, that's a mad half hour to get in

Every game they send out the 'big crowd expected, get here early messages'.

Every game people turn up 5 minutes before kick off and moan they can't walk straight in.

Never had a text before

My days of dealing with customers or end users is long gone. 😂 Actual people needing help or guidance is fine but any sign of attitude from them and I can smell my P45.
Nick! I used to work in IT support before I retired! I learnt the saying "They walk amongst us" 🤣🤣

People do turn up at 5 to 3 with zero clue
Always reminds me of the old pre pay cards... Blackburn in cup before Chelsea... bloke orders a round & whips out a £20 note to blank faces behind the till!

I'll take 2 of those if they're going spare 😂

Thousands arrivve early as requested to find turnstiles closed so already massive queue.

Wow! Got WiFi!

Erm. Been in 15 minutes. No problem queueing for 5 mins
Yes not too bad once the turnstiles opened. They could have opened up at 1pm instead of 1-30 with no queues at all.

Shit show, villa are ok with up to 5.on your network?.. fucking tragic!

There seemed to be no fencing to guide the queues but otherwise noticed no difference from last season getting in.

The rain made it quite stressful trying to work my phone as my finger swipes weren't being registered

I said the same re queue and traffic segregation. We're in the west stand and worse than ever around turnstiles 42-45 but went round to 34 for the North stand and got in within 2 mins. The process of digital tickets themselves, piece of cake as expected.

The queues were bigger than normal just after 2pm. But I think more people were opting to go in rather than drink beer in the rain. Took a bit longer for me to get in than normal but queues were moving and I didn't see anybody having issues scanning to get in.

New technology will always catch a few out, it’s inevitable. I’m sure every match-day whatever the system the ticket office will have to field people with problems, forgot ticket, lost ticket etc.,

No queues just after 2 pm, bar service was slow but we got there in the end, toilets relatively empty, seats were very good, fireworks all very Flashy …..game itself…..meh !!!
