Doug has done the best he could tonight and props to him for not shying away. I still think it's the wrong decision and I'm gutted that MR is gone. I don't believe that we couldn't have got a good 2nd in, whether we could recapture the magic of MR and AV is to be seen.

I'm still in shock and feeling empty, MR will always be the legend. I'm normally level headed but the last few days have been anything but.

It's an emotional time and I'm going to stop being so negative as it doesn't help anyone.

To be fair thou Robins have left us in a decent place crowds of 20k+ decent team we are attractive team to manage as they say a sleeping giant as long as we get the appointment right we could kick on. Just trying to keep positive.

I am aware of that, however the way it’s been done has left a big stinking mess. And even though I do like his approach and it was a great listen, I think it was naive at best to be going on like that.

Why are CWR getting the views of that lad who plays the drum who was trying to get his season ticket paid for and wanted people to not walk to the ground at Wembley because he wasn't there?
 
Now it’s all done and dusted I thought Doug came across well, you could tell from his voice that he was nervous or emotionally invested in this. I don’t mind that from an owner, given we had so long with SISU.

I think Mark Robins will eventually put his side across, but can’t see why Doug would come out and lie with the things he’s said tonight.

I think whether you believed in Robins’ time being up or not it’s time we all draw a line under this and move on.

Managers, players, owners they all come and go, Coventry City is forever and we need to get behind the new Head Coach in charge. Mark Robins will always be a legend and has given us memories for a lifetime, but time to look forward.

Because I think ultimately, prior to Thursday, many people think Doug has done a decent job. There's a handful of very loud noises from a few faces on twitter who have stirred the pot with him.

The majority he said tonight is similar to previous. He's been popular in the press with journalists too.

Tonight people have listened and have returned to previous views.
 
Anyway, it's shit Robins was sack and I thought he deserved more time but it's done so we have to move on.

The talk of being after someone to modernise and update our tactics is interesting and is probably the best way ahead

Why did they waste 30 minutes on talking about loan players rather than pressing more on Mark and the plan for the future?

Surely if they had shortlists of people who wanted to be head coach and not number 2 then DK has to be accountable for that as it was advertised and clear that it was a number 2 So why interview them or create that list?

the last 18 months we’ve seen everyone bar Dean austin leave from Lawrence to robins to boddy

all under king regime

just think about that. why is that? when they all worked fine before that

Then you have Austin next to him tonight (unsure why) and king said the fitness of the players is the best it’s been according to the data down to the performance director
