Just seen the goals Stokes wasn't quick enough to react for the first and there was 4 men on the winger and no one marking the goal scorer for the second goal.By all accounts we we pretty shit today bayliss needs to be in the middle of midfield and Kelly on the bench.

hysteria today on here as usual when we lose a game. It was woeful today, but we know these days will happen, it amazes me that people aren't used to it by now
Exactly what I think.
So many times we think we have turned a corner, then reality bites hard.
Result isn't the worst thing about yesterday, the injuries are.

Can't remember a worse season for injuries: is it just bad luck or is it because League 2 is that extra bit more physical? Maybe players get away with challenges they wouldn't in higher divisions (on and off the ball!)

I know it's blatant, but this league is way too tight for us to cling to any position in the top 7 for long, given that we are fairly prone to losing against so-called lesser teams.

Just have to carry on chipping away, and we'll be in the play offs.

I have nothing against Forest Green but going there yesterday does remind you of just how far CCFC have fallen as a football club. On the pitch I have no idea why Robins plays Kelly and Doyle together, they are the same player. Robins should play Bayliss in centre midfield to get us going forward. Playing Kelly and Doyle also results in McNulty coming too deep for the ball.

I don't think it's hysteria to worry that our inconsistency will leave us outside the promotion places. I only say this because currently our inconsistency leaves us outside the play off places

The fans are at breaking point, the strains are evident especially at away games and as I keep saying, SISU have done a lot to cause this off the field trouble

Absolute nonsense. Nothing to do with 'strain' or anything else. These so called fans are disgusting and should be banned. Are you one of them, is that why you constantly make excuses?

For such a poor performance, does anyone think that Robins should be angrier than he seemed in his post match interview?

Yes, because the pressure of watching poor football matches and supporting a crap team will turn you in to a racist homophobe. The klu klux clan are evolved port vale supporters.

Seriously, by blaming sisu for everything you detract from what they are actually responsible for.

I don't think the thick knuckle draggers understand that

Who are the Klu Klux Klan? Are they a splinter group of the Ku Klux Klan?

Lets just get real and understand we are not that good. We have won the last two home games, neither convincingly.
Against Swindon we were lucky and a neutral observer would have said the best team lost. Then Cambridge, a poor
team with virtually no attacking options. They should have scored at least 2 goals and were worth the draw.
Doyle and Kelly together does not work. Both new loan players have been disappointing, Baylis, Shipley and DKE are better.
Fans are never right, but reading the posts on here we nearly all pick the same team. But we are not the manager and he sees
things differently, unfortunately he also picks the team. :emoji_disappointed::emoji_disappointed::emoji_disappointed:

Deserved that. Didn’t do enough

Grub has been down our left hand side all afternoon

Too slow

Too many people limping around

Davies fractured collar Bone

Both ends of the table and we weren’t fighting enough

Won’t say we weren’t up for it but they were first to the ball

Created chances early on but too lax

Certainly annoying

Poor poor afternoon

No excuses

Came to a team who have done the double over us

Coming away from home we haven’t been good enough

Grimmer done his hamstring over stretching

Pitches have been heavy but same for both teams

Stokes over stretched and done his hamstring too. Not sure if a tear

Needed to see the game out

Got to put it behind us

Lots of plaudits recently and need to stop reading that. Stop reading the press

No excuses

3 games in a week but other teams in the division doing the same

Made it really difficult for ourselves

Aside from not picking up any points from a match that on the face of it should have been winnable for me the big concern is the loss of three defenders injured. Defence has been the strength so far. Worrying.

Perhaps it might necessitate a change of focus and we go at opponents from the off but I doubt it. We don't appear confident going forward.

I couldn’t get a ticket for today and had no idea that abuse like that was being shouted, no place for that and makes you look a dickhead. What was actually shouted/chanted and was it by one or two people or more? Was the Stone Island brigade out?

I do blame sisu for most of our off the field troubles and I’m apprehensive about turning on anyone that wants to protest or vent their anger at sisu - but you’re right that doesn’t give you a free licence to shout what you want, a Forest Green Rovers defender isn’t to blame for our demise anyway, neither is one defeat.

If you weren't there and didn't see or hear it how do you know it was because of sisu? It makes you look a dickhead also.

The same as mk behaviour wasn't.

There's no excusing it. It's just people who are ignorant and thick as fuck, the same as when you have to check whether it was because of sisu or not they were doing it. Ignoring the fact they are just scum.

The fans don’t give me much hope for the Brighton game. A load of dickheads there today. Fighting, homophobic cunts.

I made a general remark about our away support being under strain, which I think it is. We go one goal down, or don’t score and the abuse starts. Countless away games this season have ended in confrontations between fans. Is that because the pies didn’t have any meat in? Or because there was a queue for the toilets? Or because the tickets weren’t expensive enough?

Yes nick, I am a bit of a dickhead, and I can never be accused of not acknowledging it! Yourself on the other hand... pusb ;)

It really is a minority though and down to where you are sitting. Personally I had no problems whatsoever at MK.

You should give it a go, I think you'll be surprised.

No, it's the way you try to excuse retards by saying it is SISU making them do it. Nothing to do with the fact they are grade A bellends. Exactly the same as you did when people at MK were acting like dickheads also.

Maybe there is confrontation because some of our fans shouldn't be allowed out in public, can't handle their beer or are just twats? At what point can they take a bit of the blame for their behaviour and it isn't somebody elses?

I was really looking forward to the Forest green trip and some of their fans were thoroughly decent people. A small village club on the up but for what’s essentially a publicity exercise for a green energy company their fans singing “you let your club die” was really poor. I hope they get relegated.

Sisu are responsible for the decline of the club: the relegations, the move to six fields, not knowing where we are playing next season etc etc. They are not responsible for the individual and collective behaviours of a minority of crass, boorish and frankly idiotic fans.

Cannot disagree with any of that.

Ridiculous post. There is no justification for such oafish behaviour from so called "fans".

True these so called fans were ST Holder, go to most away games and believe they have a right to behave this way.
Walkers the lot of them.
I am the first on here to stick up for our fans, but over the last few games have seen it get worse, there is no need for this type of supporter at our club.

Having been lucky enough to miss yesterday's game I can understand the initial anger and raw feeling to this defeat shown on this thread. To travel, be rained on and watch a dire performance off the back of a good run is hard to take to a wealthily village side in a humble set up in the sticks.

Unfortunately I'm not shocked by the defeat, unfortunately this is the level of players we're dealing with it's L2 all over plus added to the fact our away form is more miss than hit and we've struggled against inferior sides in the lower reaches of the league this season says it's business as usual.

Forest Green are in reality now in a false position to what there squad suggests since the January window has opened and will climb the table to safety. 10 new additions with the pick being Reuben Reid and retaining the services of Cristian Doidge. They've won there last 3 home games beating Port Vale, thumping Cambridge and now CCFC.

Yesterday's told us nothing we all didn't know already, but has been damaging on the injury front once more. The once mighty, plucky CCFC lost to the new club on the block on now equal terms in L2. A bitter pill to swallow but reality in 2018 as history gets you nothing but nostalgia.

The future is where the next chapter is wrote, on to Saturday we go....

Everyone on here was keen to blame after MK ‘the stag do wannabes’ etc that just go to the big trips....well yesterday it was just STHs on one ticket per ST and by all accounts there was still poor behaviour, so maybe the season ticket holders need to have a look at themselves, before taking the moral high ground with everyone else.

The club won’t bring in an away caps policy like any club of note, that makes sure away tickets go to fans that do away games and build up points as it will help fans that boycott home games. I’ve been to twelve home and eight away games this season and I’m sure there’s many others that are pay as you go, rather than boycotting or just doing away.

The guy who abused the young steward was very proud he had been a season ticket holder for 50 seasons & I guess was in his 50s or 60s, he wasn’t a stone islander!
His beef with the girl was that she was one of ‘them’ and when asked to define what ‘them’ meant provided the explanation that ‘she was a forgeiner and he didn’t like them being in his country’.
He also turned on his friend who tried to defuse the situation and stop him attacking a fellow fan.
He got a couple of hugs from his own group when the other group moved away. I can only presume they were proud of his statements & actions ......
His party were also responsible for the gay boy in the pink chant .......
Lovely group but I very much doubt they will see wrong in their behaviour. Poor day for CCFC, I can forgive the players as poor performances are simply part of sport but this group of fans were a complete and utter embarrassment to the club we all follow.

Sound like bell ends, why were they hugging? Stewards should have kicked them out and given them a slap.

They sound like Middle Aged losers.

Imagine being from Coventry and going to Nailsworth, which has a very small percentage of ethnic minorities, could probably count them on one hand and complaining about a foreign steward....

Surprised they would start the gay boy song, that’s a bit immature but I suppose if they’re congratulating someone on shouting abuse at a foreign girl that would be fitting for them. Middle aged losers looking to blame everyone under 30. Bet they would be the first to be outraged and moaning about young yobs if our away allocations were cut.

I was part of the group that walked away there were 5 of us 3 men and 2 women.
One of the girls got crushed against the barrier, and bruised her ribs she wanted to go home, luckily the stewards put her and her husband into the home end to watch the game were asked to cover up their colours.

These supporters are known to me so words will be exchanged about their behavior, and bad attitude.
