We were all told the journey is better than the destination.... (3 Viewers)

The concern for me listening to Doug King this morning and Lampard or King in the past, is that they keep saying things similar "got to remember where we came from" or "how we got here", constantly harking back to the journey we've been on. That's great if you want to romanticise about it and relive the memories, but that doesn't help us win games, to keep us up and to keep moving the Club forward. Since we've dropped to L2 and start coming back we've been making progress to get back here, now we are in the Prem it's for me how do we kick on again.

The atmosphere will always respond to what they see on the pitch, so if Doug wants the atmosphere at it's best he's got to tell Frank to get a message to the players of 100% commitment and leave nothing out there - the fans will respond to that.

But they won’t. There’s loads of guff spoken about effort etc. But it’s results that shape what fans think.

Isn't it time, can we backdate the award of an increased reward structure for promoted team's as we've had quite a hefty increase in costs what with inflation eating into transfers?
