it was a squad that was 1 pt off safety in january so fair to say it was at least capable of remianing like that till end. poor squad maybe but relegation was never foregone conclusion

but nothing new has been learnt,we both know where each other stand. regardless of thoughts on mowbray/slade/turnbull think we are both happy he is to leave and his wages can be used on a new signing

Nothing's been learned between our thoughts, no lol we see things worlds apart, at least it's a little more humorous now.

You put the blame solely at Slades door and results rightly back up that claim over the 13 games or so in charge.

However TM and MV are the men that simply shaped the season that unfolded.

i do yes

i do not solely blame him for a bad season though, just never should have been relegation bad imo.

I would quite happily allow Turnbull to move to Northampton, permitting that in return they give us Alex Revell or Marc Richards..

Poor yes. Not 15pts off surivoval or ehatever it was st end

He came in with us 1 pt from safety or something remember! The squad didnt become worse january onwards! And if it did thats on slade even more!

Robins proved this. In the form the squad displayed under Robins they should have been a mid table team. Under the other 3 managers form was rock bottom with Slades being the worst.

TM did the right thing in resigning when he did as it allowed plenty of time to turn things around. Allowing Venus to be caretaker for so long was disastrous and appointing Slade was even worse. If we’d appointed Robins from the off when Mowbray resigned there’s no reason to believe we wouldn’t have stayed up and not wasted a January transfer window to boot.

Did not expect we'd be able to move him on this window.

Really positive news. If we can now look to move Reid on we could strengthen further.

Good job we sold him, don’t want to fall foul of FIFA Jordan Quotas.

Nor me, fair play if he was a decent earner. Just need Reid to go now!

The transfer is believed to be free, but there are add-ons that could lead to money being paid to Coventry in the future.

Quote from one article. better than nothing.

Hopefully realistic ones, rather than England callups.

Even so, I'd have been happy to let him go for nothing at all so anything is a bonus.

Just looked at the table, didn't realise them and Bury were in the shit. Bury may as well just give up now, so much for them being money bags.

Wasn't it said last season that they had got themselves into financial shit?

If we've got Rod for free from them and sold them Turdbull that is unbelievable business.

Frees up some wages without weakening the current squad - excellent piece of business. Now lets see how those freed up wages will be invested - still need at least a couple of players if we are realistically to push for promotion.

And then people wonder why posters get annoyed!!!

I really think Nick needs a sticky on this. This must be at least the 20th time we have had someone quote John Harriott, even though we continually come out and say it's a fake account and he's not an agent!!
