TRANSFER: Jordan Turnbull recalled from loan

Hopefully it means we have found a buyer.

Recall with a view of permanent transfer elsewhere in the coming days...

He has an extra year I think on his contract, so good to get him gone!

Even if Willis or McDonald were being sold, I think we still have enough cover with Hyam and Davies.

we need 4 ideally. stokes would mean haynes a tleft back who isnt good enough and if he got injured we are looking at camwell

we cannot put promotion at risk for sake of 400k upfront. promotion will give us more money in long run

macdonald was our best player for frist 3 months, willis has shown his worth all season long, davies is current man of the moment. hyam is brilliant back up. we have had to use all of our specialist cbs already,we cannot afford to lose one imo, it is simply too risky

This is the best news of 2018 so far. A club somewhere in the land is desperate need of a useless left footed central defender.

Whoever found a buyer needs a bonus in his/her January pay.

He would have been on high wages and had an extra season on his contract after this one, well rid if we can get him gone. Even more so if we get a fee for him.

Maybe we did a buy one get one free and threw in Kyel Reid too.

Would put the value of Turnbull down though of course.

It a deal, it's a steal. The the sale of the century.

Two clowns for the price of one. What a weight of the wage bill that would be for MR to utilise

He was our second highest earner last season but had his wages cut in half after relegation. Hopefully this gives us the cash to get in another body and give Bayliss a contract.

I thought Bayliss had signed a 4 year deal ? Or was it my imagination?

I expected a lot from Turnbull when we signed him. Shame he turned out to be pretty much useless. However I won't forget his acrobatic interception the final at Wembley.

What annoyed me about him was his inability to clear the ball, it would go just outside the box when it looks like he had put his all in it. We would be under pressure and instead of it going out for a goal kick to them (or ideally a throwin deep in their half like you get taught to try for as a kid) it would go straight back to them to come back at us.

His clearances were god awful. I've never known a centre back that had such an inability to head the ball away from danger. His positioning as a defender was equally as bad. Time and time again he was caught out and the whole team payed for it.

I hope the fans of whatever team he is about to sign for come and read this forum.

Time to get more out of Camwell
I think like Bayliss he has it In his locker to make it.
Don't want to see him dissillusioned and wasted.

Is this similar to the urban legend that an American bought London Bridge and reassembled in Texas or wherever and only then realised that it was Tower bridge that he wanted?

Is there some League 1 manager presently grinning because he's going to get Coventry's star centre back?

As it stands, even though Stoke are struggling, Camwell's looking like he might regret not jumping when he had the chance.

(And yes, I know it's early days in his career etc, and who knows if he's world beater or carpet beater, to borrow a Strachanism)

Apparently Stoke never were sniffing around and he heard nothing about it. Note the apparently though.

Cracked it!!!!

We've done a deal with MK Dons, it was gonna be £25 but we suggested £15/£17 and we will give you Turnbull to make up the difference.
