There is no yet to be seen option
Yes I did, the squad was never strong enough to consistently compete with other championship teams. Any mistake Thorn made was exposed and exacerbated by the weakness of the squad.didnt you watch us last season?
I took 'up for the job' as ''man to take us up'Is Thorn up to the job as manager? Vote 1 for black and 2 for white. For that reason, I am out. 'Is Thorn the man to take us up' is a poll people could better get their teeth into, but I still would assert that 'yes / no' is too simplistic and will not suit everyone...
unfair pool at this time though due to that fact a manager needs tools and he wasn't given them.
Its hard to see positives though at the minute, I've not even heard of any praise being levied at any particular player from last nights debacle. People are sick of perennial failure !!
So we're judging them on pre-season games now?
Last years pre-season we Won 4, Drew 3 & only lost one!!! Didn't exactly reflect our season....
When are people going to grasp that it's not based on the last few pre season games. Thorn has been here for 1 and a half years.
I can 'grasp' it perfectly well. When Thorn had the likes of Westwood, Gunnar and King in early 2010 and was getting wins hone and away, playing flowing football. Fans were creaming for him to be permanent boss.
Then he loses the quality and is left with a squad the 'fans' openly bash every week and he's the bad manager....
Trust me if after ten games we've won one then I think it's time for him to move on because this year it's players he's brought in.
I only put yes and no so that it was a simple question without having to add things like hands tied. I will add a Dont know though![]()
Is Thorn up to the job as a manager? Nothing to do with his hands being tied, nothing to do with the tools he has had, just as a manager.
Bit like saying a man can't swim without having seen him without concrete blocks stuck to his feet though IMO. As someone who constantly assesses situations based on context, I can't even attempt to judge one without it.
Your powers of Rationalization on before of Thorn are breathtaking

This poll should also be asked after some league matches. Not just after a 4 1 friendly defeat to Wrexham.
