He’s not a troll, he’s been on here for years under multiple aliases. rupert_bear was his previous one

About mid table, not that much. Nobody on over 25k I don't believe, I'd say around 12k is the average.

25k at this level is obscene.

I'd say it's about average nowadays

The average YEARLY Championship wage back in 2006 was around £150,000. That works out at around £3,000 per week - still an extraordinary salary compared to your average Joe in the United Kingdom.

14 years on and the average wage has rocketed; players are averaging closer to £29,000 per week.

The difference between now and when we were last in the league was staggering. When we got relegated £1m was considered a fair bit of cash to spend on a new player, now for most teams it would be considered a relatively low price.

We’re in the market with the top L1 clubs, Rotherham and Wycombe. All of the players we’ve signed apart from maybe Hamer you wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up at a League 1 club

Walker, Ostigard and O'Hare could easily have got Championship moves elsewhere I'm sure.

O’Hare was in and out in League 1 with Shipley who isn’t everyone’s favourite and Westbrooke whos now at Bristol Rovers, not undroppable like Walsh. He’s a better player than both but I can’t imagine too many clubs higher up were offering him first team football - most of his contributions were off the bench

Championship has effectively become Prem 2 now though hasn’t it. Wouldn’t be surprised if it eventually breaks away. Hopefully with us in it

Is that mean or median?

I can well believe there’s a bunch of ex Prem contracts dragging up the mean, I’d be surprised if it were the median.

O’Hare maybe. I think Forest we’re looking? Walker though when I looked only L1 fans were talking about him maybe signing. Don’t know about Østigård.

Is it five loans you’re allowed in the Match day squad at once?

Or he'll keep it to cover what we actually need when the time comes. I think he's moved on as has the player himself

How long does it take to sign a contract?
