Nothing to do with an election where shed pretty much stated it was her vs Macron I assume?

What she said was she’d propose a series of reforms France needs to the EU - she didn’t say what her stance would be if she didn’t get her way - which she won’t

Yes. Several times UKIP councillors have managed to get a question from the audience and the QT social media team have shared the video of it. At one point it was happening every week.

She is anti EU, I don't even know how Tony can deny this.

If you look at the data you will see the Brexit party we’re getting more traction on social media than any of the others. Twitter tends to be more pro remain but post favouring leave outweigh remain on every other platform.

I’ve no real view on migration but your more paid in argument is dubious at best as it does not include the extra spend on infrastructure required to support population growth

It’s always been her opinion. I’m afraid you’ve been paying too much attention to fake news claiming her position is pure anti EU. It’s reform she wants not exit. She hasn’t juxtaposed her position on either EU membership or seeing Ferage as an extremist.

In 2018, the imbalance was worse. There were 131 Remainers and just 64 Leavers. Only one episode in 2018 featured a majority of Leavers on the panel. One episode featured no Leavers at all. The number of episodes with only one Leaver also increased compared to 2017.

Between 2017 and 2019, Question Time has featured 303 Remainers and 152 Leavers, a bias of almost exactly two to one

But why is the transfer of these millions of jobs the fault of the EU and immigration? They're moving for cheaper workers/production costs. By your own admission immigration brings down wages, so while taking some job you could argue they're helping keeping the manufacturing here by driving down costs and providing an economic argument to the companies to stay here. That will only get worse as Africa becomes more viable and being in or out of the EU won't make a blind bit of difference.

If anything leaving the EU and thus making European markets less accessible and potentially affecting revenues and profits is likely to increase the likelihood of these companies moving abroad

Also the failure of government to restribute wealth and new industries where they're needed - again why is the fault of the EU? It's our own government deciding to build the student and education sector and protect the financial sector in the SE while not replacing manufacturing jobs in the regions. The EU money in grant is distributed far more to those regions than UK government spending on infrastructure etc. There is potential for huge growth in green technology and energy to replace things like the old factories and coal mining areas. The UK government have ignored this advice and pushed ahead with things like nuclear and fracking.

And these are the people that will have a much great say in things when we leave the EU.

Where did you get this from and how is it tallied up?

How does it relate to my point that UKIP councillors keep getting coverage from the audience?

Well firstly there really should have been more protectionism against particularly the Chinese, they have stolen, copied and cheated their way to robbing a lot of people of decent employment.
I agree with most of your post though.

It’s a fact that several UKIP councillors have been in the audience and then been featured.

I'm telling you that the media are pro remain, the sheer disparity between panel guests is a starting point.
The inability to report on positives on their main channels such as Britain's new frigate contract with Australia that could only be found on their website... These little things have been a continuous trend since 2016... Its so undeniable its crazy

I’d be interested to see the info on panel split, genuinely.

Of course there’s media on both sides but I don’t think there’s a remain bias. Plenty of the papers are adamant Brexit.

Trump is building an unsustainable boom designed to benefit the corporations and rich. It will implode and the average Joe will be absolutely fucked by it.

I understand your stance on immigrants and old people paying in over the long term. I think those figures where immigrants pay in more than the elderly (which is true at any given moment in time) needs to be altered to reflect the average contributions over theri lifetimes in the country.

But there is the point that while the elderly will most likely have paid in for a long time (there will be long-term benefit claimants etc in the elderly population as well), as elderly people they will now be taking it back out in terms of health and social care pensions etc.

Having an audience member ask a question is not even on the same wavelength as having Pro remain panel members at a rate of 2-1 being allowed to put a cross their opinion for 2 straight years... Is it

    It's called bias

It’s hilarious Tony is a politicians gift - he hears a popular comment and lazily dribbles in the corner believing it without weighing up the evidence

Well I see the SNP again ignoring the considerable number of Scottish Brexit supporters and ignoring Farage's second place there. Their time will soon be up
