Transfer Rumour Summer Transfer Window 2026 (30 Viewers)

Mings is probably more likely than not. Makes great sense for someone who’s 33 that he won’t need to move.

Think he lives more local to Cov than Birmingham
Pretty sure he lives next door to Bidwell

A few names that are free agents this year,
Jadon Sancho 29

Yves Bissouma 29

Stefan Ortega 33

Adama Traore 30

Solly March, 32 (Last club: Brighton & Hove Albion)

Adam Webster, 31 (Last club: Brighton & Hove Albion)

Joel Veltman, 34 (Last club: Brighton & Hove Albion)

Nathaniel Clyne, 35 (Last club: Crystal Palace)

Seamus Coleman, 37 (Last club: Everton)

Emil Krafth, 31 (Last club: Newcastle United)

Willy Boly, 35 (Last club: Nottingham Forest)

Bertrand Traore, 30 (Last club: Sunderland)

some might give us the experience we're looking for, some just not worth it?

I know financially it wouldn't make sense for the player, but Sancho could really revitalise his career with us. A1 year contract with an additional year in our favour.

There is some valuable experience in this list to bolster our young and inexperienced premier league squad.

Someone you've never heard of is attracting interest from Roma however he would like to test himself in the Premier League. This has alerted Arsenal, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Coventry City, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Hull City, Ipswich Town, Leeds United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Sunderland & Tottenham Hotspur. Expect this to move quickly 🚨 🔜 🖋️ 🕐

But their agent will know that and it’s the agent that often leaks the story not the club …..
If an agent has several clubs already working on a player he isn't leaking that info, he's drumming up interest in a client with no movement - by linking a load of random clubs.

Are Villa still in need to sell to settle finances? If so, Ian Maatsen would be my choice and worth a go
Definitely I rate Maatsen and surprised Villa haven't used him more. He had a spell when he was given a really good run ahead of Digne and then Digne got back in. But he's quick, direct and not the worst defender but it almost seems now full backs main role is to attack certainly wing backs do.

Clueless.

Suggest you go on a negotiation course mate.

Is there suddenly a death of talent around and team's are going older head's or is some accounts trick?

... Ends up at Wrexham

CCFC Analysis's latest blog is suggesting we should sign in to play left back
appreciate you taking the time to read it.

for context....

"there are plenty of upsides in looking at Callum Doyle. Opens up back three options, high technical ability, young, English, but would be expensive. If playing at LB, he’s not your marauding wing-back type, but seven assists for Norwich when often operating in that position showed an eye for a delivery if you can get him into the right positions."

My worry with signings African players is they always get called up for African Cup of Nations at a critical point in the season and you lose them for a month
My concerns too. And they possibly come back injured and / or jetlagged

How is it wasted?

We would get money bak on KKH and Markelo?
KKH was not in that pot of players, he’s quality and one I want to keep.
Raphael, Brau, Bassette all a waste of money and who knows what Markelo is like, the fact we were worried about him joining a Saudi club and rushed his transfer through so he didn’t join a Saudi club doesnt fill me with confidence, it wasn’t like he was joining a European giant.
Who knows what he’s like. Fingers crossed he’s great and we signed him with premier league in mind

Bissouma joined QPR

Bassette was £2m supposedly. That's why we cant get a sale as we would lose money. Markelo £4m and we have yet to see what he's really like and I doubt anyone had heard of him before he came here

If we were to sell Markelo do you think we would get less than a million quid?

we would have made a decent chunk of that back in loan fees...
