Under 21s dont count so Perry and Andrews can stay with the squad
 
Thats why players like Hjerto Dahl would be good. Gives us depth without affecting the 25 man squad.

Yeah football wise BTA makes more sense for me but financially Simms does. I do wonder if we also move BTA on and find a target man type who Lampard likes more than Simms
 
Regula at a quarter of the price and half the wages would be a far better option than Stansfield.

We bought Markelo knowing there was like 90% chance we were getting promoted with the expectation he likely wasn’t going to play at the end of last year much.

Either he will be now integrated in and be a good player for us as he was ‘apparently our number one target’ orrrrr he will be not all he was hyped up to be like Bassette, Woolfenden and others. However TomRad says we should alwaysssss unconditionally trust what the scouts have assessed and can’t have our own opinions 🙄

I think we'll soon find out. I'm still of the belief we'll do quite a bit from here. If we picked up someone like Stansfield i don't think it's as a nailed on starter that's for sure, so in a way i'd just be more intrigued on what is still to come.

No youre right, I dont have any ITK anymore

But im not a fucking thicko who thinks a pen merchant that doesnt even start every game for a midtable championship side and is apparently valued at 30 million quid, is going to be someone we piss over 1/4 of our budget on

I was told by the same person who told me about the kit that we had been speaking Gboho and Elliott, so as they got the kit right gave them benefit of the doubt on that, looks like bollocks though

I wish they hadnt done that - personal opinion but for me it’s the worst kit I’ve seen us wear since that Tesco bag effort about 10 years ago . Not a ounce of sky blue anywhere

Yeah. Each to their own and all that, but it really is piss poor. We could have just as easily celebrated the 60th anniversary of being promoted to the top division for the first time. They knew it wouldn't be universally liked with the ridiculous "deeper sky blue" nonsense.

If the colour is 'deeper' than sky blue then it isn't sky blue. It's just blue. It really is (in my opinion) fucking dreadful. A monstrosity. Looked worse than I imagined it would on Saturday too.

Under 21 do not count towards the 25 man squad.
Born on or after January 1, 2005, for the 2026/27 season.
