I imagine Simms will run his contract down. Why wouldn’t he? Probably on an enhanced contract for getting to the PL and will then pick up another sack of cash from a top championship due to them not having a fee to pay

the 19 year old showed pace, strength and movement - the 25 year old hasn’t showed any of that since he’s been here.

He might want to have the opportunity to stay a premier league player?

Might as well keep him until the summer. We would probably only get around 5 mil for him with 6 months on his contract. If he scored a few goals in that 6 months they will be worth more than 5 mil to us.

I disagree, he’ll be 4th/5th choice striker if everyone is fit. Half the championship will be after a striker in January and he’s one of the few that will probably be available.

For a cut price fee - he could also reject the move and pick up a hefty signing on fee and choose his own club in the summer.

I don't think he will to be honest. There's no gaurantee on Wrights fitness and an injury/suspension to Awoniyi or Cherif means we'd be struggling.

I reckon he'll get a new contract.

While Ellis is rarely injured.
Maybe someone will want Haji.

Exactly this.. he will enjoy this season under pretty much no pressure as he’s not first choice.
