Both of to Stoke City if the rumours going around are true, what I find baffling is both on season loans!!

Don't think we will score enough goals in this league with the players we have got at the moment without losing Simms...

I know some of you will say Simms wont score many !!! But cant see any other of our forwards scoring more than 5 this season.

Don't want to be negative and I really hope they prove me wrong but do you agree or disagree?

I completely agree, leave us with an untried and untested 19 year old who is match fit and another forward who has been a little injury prone in the past. Would be a huge risk.
If true letting Simms go with Wright being injured and not brining in a replacement is a huge mistake. It leaves us with Awoniya and an unfit Cher

Madness to let him go on loan especially as he’s out of control next year.

No issues with Bidwell as long as they are covering his wages
wouldnt say hes out of control, but he is out of contract next year.

Agreed I would keep him , great end of the season looked good in friendliest
Had a good game against Arsenal should of been on against hull

I would be surprised if we let Simms go on loan without bringing someone in. I can see him being sold though as he is out of contract.

You can still add recall clauses to loans, right? So that would be the best option for Simms at this moment in time.

Everyone assuming we'd let Simms go without bringing in a loan striker 🤣🤣🤣

Your accuracy on these matters makes a JH rumour look credible. Bore off.

Simms must feel hard done by. Scores against Monaco & Espanyol, and was one of the better players at The Emirates. Benched for Hull. He should have been the first sub on just after half time. Ends up not getting on at all, as our only CF on the bench and losing at home.

Theres been a big shock departure every season at end of transfer window...it seems to balance books.

Hyam
Palmer
Sheaf
This year....???

Stoke have just signed a new left back (Bombino) and are signing Tom Cannon. We don't have a back up left back so Bidwell will be staying and I think Simms will stay too.
Stoke have also signed Hirst recently and already have Gallagher

If someone comes in for big money for Torp/Simms/Eccles...they are off.

Watch this space.

Only in the winter window.

Simms has one year left? We are not going to loan him in that case are we.

So has Bidwell and I’m sure someone would offer him a two year deal somewhere

Where has this rumour come from because Robins often didn’t pick Simms when he was here and Bidwell was never reliably first choice either plus both have a year left so a loan would be strange. Not saying it’s not happening but would be a bizarre couple of transfers for a few reasons.

It’s obvious bs lol

Simms is another situation that has been badly managed. He should have either signed a contract or been sold by now.

If he's not in lampards plan no point keeping him. I imagine he will sign a one year extension before going out on loan

We have taiwo bta and cherif to play there till wright returns

I don't think he sees BTA as a 9 at all, he only played him there once last season and only in a 2 when we played wingbacks briefly when Lampard first joined. Cheriff is deemed not fit enough for the bench at the minute too.

We do, what do you think DaSilva and Mfuni are. 😒

Why would he sign a 1 year extension when it's in his interests if he isn't in our plans to leave for free so he can demand even more money?

There should be no place for BTA in a PL team.
Amazing that he's not gone.
