Yeah, but we should have got Flemming.Thought he looked really good tonight against 2 seasoned CB's
Goal and Assist on his Premier League debut.

What an odd signing Cherif is ....Yeah, but we should have got Flemming.
Yeah i think this perhaps sums up where he's at. Lots of potential and quality, lots to learn also. He's also looks like he's benefited from the international break, a chance to bed in with his team.Won the penalty , scored a stunning goal , should’ve laid one off to Rudi and miss hit an easy one
He’s 19 years old , if he brings that to the table on his full debut I’ll give him all the time he needs to bed in to the Premier league
Flemming who has 2 goals and been a match winner for Ipswich this season. Glad you finally have seen the light!Yeah, but we should have got Flemming.
Wonder if we could seeHe was lively,. and took his chance well. Be interesting to see him at Tottenham. If he starts, he'll get more space when we counter, but he's going to need to do the ugly stuff too being away from home. With Taiwo back too, and Simms pushing hard with his goal last night we have some good competition there.
Onyeka for Grimes would be my choiceWonder if we could see
Rushworth
MVE Mfuni Thomas Pinnock JDS
Grimes Yerinkyi
Ruodni
Awoniyi Cherif
I thought Grimes did OK yesterday but can understand the idea behind having more legs in the midfield.Onyeka for Grimes would be my choice
As it’s a tough away game where we’re likely to be without the ball a lot I’d bring Awoniyi straight back in for Spurs. He was lively,. and took his chance well. 100% this!Rushworth
Mfuni Thomas Pinnock
MVE Yirenkyi Grimes JDS
Rudoni BTA
Awoniyi
Would be my 11 for spurs
I can't decide if it's better to rest Cherif and let him cameo from the bench or keep his momentum going. If Tchouna was left out for tactical reasons as suggested then he could well come back in for BTA at Spurs100% this!
The break away in the first half from just inside our half. Where he ran through was looking for Rudoni but when it wasn’t on took on the shot which was accurate but lacked power. The key moment was how he won the ball and totally foxed the Newcastle defender who ended up flat on his face pathetically resorting to asking for a foul. That moment was like watching an experience CF not a 19 year old. He is showing a lot of promise. The chance he missed to put us three nil up, seeing it again on the highlights wasn’t as easy as it first looked as the ball sat up a bit and he was unfortunate that his shot deflected off his standing foot. But all things considered a good performance from him.Thought he looked really good tonight against 2 seasoned CB's
Goal and Assist on his Premier League debut.
Does Ruodni still play for us? If so I completely agree...I missed him!Wonder if we could see
Rushworth
MVE Mfuni Thomas Pinnock JDS

Ruodni
Awoniyi Cherif
He played last night and scored a penaltyDoes Ruodni still play for us? If so I completely agree...I missed him!
If you look at the slo-mo on Sky Sports he was really unlucky with the missed shot, as it came across he hit it with his right foot aiming for the left corner but the ball caught his left foot and deflected, just a fraction too late in connecting.Won the penalty , scored a stunning goal , should’ve laid one off to Rudi and miss hit an easy one

Just admit you were wrong. Not saying there is a knee jerk pattern to your opinions but you had him as prime Messi when he was signed, then an expensive flop and now he’s scored he’s good again. NonsenseFlemming who has 2 goals and been a match winner for Ipswich this season. Glad you finally have seen the light!
When did I say he was an expensive flop? You are losing the plot. SHIT WUMJust admit you were wrong. Not saying there is a knee jerk pattern to your opinions but you had him as prime Messi when he was signed, then an expensive flop and now he’s scored he’s good again. Nonsense

Hope not.But Awoniye starts.
Cherif will get his chance vs Tottenham. As sub...like Simms.
But Awoniye starts.
Woukd seem harsh. But you have to make the right calls in football. Lampard will start with Awoniyi. He's dropped Simms many times when in a rich vein of form. The right thing then was to bring in Wright. After getting sent off and banned for 3 games, T doesn’t have the right to just replace the striker who won the penalty and scored a great goal.
Cherif had a good game but he’s going to be a frustrating player for the next 1-2 seasons as he develops.
Missed 2 big chances but his goal was fantastic! I liked how he put himself about too!
“ I shot the cherif - but i did not shoot his deputeeee “ lol
There has to a song in there somewhere -Headlines on the back of most of the national newspapers " there's a new Cherif in town"![]()
I think it was during your Flemming is the next iteration of Maradona phase. Or was it Franculino? Or Openda? Anyone it was someone. When did I say he was an expensive flop? You are losing the plot. SHIT WUM
